I suppose driving anywhere in another country carries some level of interest more than those who live there. You were talking about the cost? It's complicated because I think that if you buy a vehicle being worried about how much it might cost to drive somewhere means you shouldn't have bought the vehicle. Then again for recreational driving that I suppose is a legitimate concern.
The only thing that would make me reconsider going somewhere just casually is the safety issue. Apparently a large majority of fatal motorcycle crashes in my state occur between 2 and 4pm on weekends, suggesting they're mostly recreational riding related.
I was talking about not having a job, and he was suggested I go on Craigslist, and I said that the closest Craigslist area if Aberdeen, and that'd take me like 5 hours to drive or something (just a guess; never actually been to Aberdeen by road). He wondered why that was a big deal, and I just said well you wouldn't just go all that way for a job, which prompted the distance conversation where he told me about how he helped his hoarding grandmother move house, doing 5 hours of driving every single day for some length of time.
So I was wondering what reasons I have for thinking Aberdeen is a world away, and that I wouldn't want to just drive over there every couple days for a job. So I came up with those reasons of windy roads and higher fuel prices. Truth is I'm really just not willing to admit that my country is small, and that any complaint I have of a 'long drive' is suddenly invalid and that I'm not allowed to complain, because the US is larger and you're more hard done by than I am because you're mostly just empty space. I just want some reasons to not give up one of my favourite subjects to winge about, by making them just as bad as yours, but in different ways.

Hahah, I live in the middle of the US, nothing but corn and wheat fields out here, and 5 hours is hella long for me. I used to have to drive 30 min to school and back every day and even that was too much.
Driving that long is a pain in the butt(literally), you use a lot of fuel, it's more than likely a waste of time, and you'd probably have a happier life if you didn't do it.
I guess it's just Kalamari being superior wherever he can again. I know how that is.
(Or I could just be comparing people to myself again!!!)
Gas prices here are around $3/gal :c
I can't believe nobody made a joke yet about page 69 :p
Ah excellent, I'll just make one.

Let's not have the gas price comparison discussion okay, it always goes exactly the same

[editline]8th December 2013[/editline]
fuck you broke my automerge
I'm re-watching the last few seasons of Family Guy out of boredom before I rewatch Scrubs in its entirety.
I totally forgot they had the platonic cuddling episode.
Maaaan I loved this episode when it came out.
I wish more people would snuggle just for the sake of it.
Cuddlin' is so much fun.
I wish I had people to snuggle with. ;w;
edit: also semi-related I love seeing Stweie being super-smart and fighty. It's been annoying he's so mellow and just flamboyant for the sake of making jokes.
Are tongue piercings worth it?
a tongue piercing sounds like a shitty obstruction in your mouth that doesn't go away
then again so does a piercing anywhere :v:
i don't really see how a piercing anywhere could be "worth it"
obviously up to you if you wanna get one
Are tongue piercings worth it?
Metal ones fuck up your teeth, I have two family members who've had chipped teeth because they ate with a piercing in
True, having something made of metal in your tongue all the time does sound like a terrible idea.
Just thinking of people getting genitalia piercings makes me shudder.
Yeeeeugh.
I have a test tomorrow ahhh gotta study

One of my friends has a Prince Albert. Apparently it makes pissing weird.

I mean, there is another hole in your dick.
What's the upside to having extra holes in your dick?
What's the upside to having extra holes in your dick?
DOUBLE CUMBOW

Just thinking about it hurts :v:
I sort of want to have a piercing but my gf doesnt want me to because she's disgusted by it :c

and tattoos
Removed because some people get overly offended when someone doesn't like piercings.

I kind of just imagine it'd be like those episodes of Tom & Jerry where Tom gets shot full of holes and when he tries to drink water it just sprays in every direction.
Personally I enjoy body art. Piercings and tattoos.
Just don't get a dumb tattoo you'll regret and don't get a piercing in a place you really don't want pierced.
My ex had nipple piercings, now he has half a nipple, lol.
Are anal piercings a thing
[editline]8th December 2013[/editline]
apparently anal piercings are a thing
Piercings make you look like trash, same with tattoos.
If you want to look more respectable, leave them behind.
And then wear our suits and go to work in the 1950s, it's 2013, those ideas are antiquated

Ideally, sure.

you can easily hide tattoos, just dont get any neck/face/hand tattoos.
my sister is literally covered in tattoos, and she has a representative function at a school. Nose piercing, and brow piercing can be removed easily, and tattoos can be covered up with long sleeves or even make-up.

So not having piercings or tattoos is like living in the 1950s?
ok
