N64 systems needs a q-tip every time you look at it. No matter how brand new or clean, it still needs to be cleaned out.
Yeah. I cleaned it about nine hours ago and it still needed a cleaning.
I'd bet even a sterilized room isn't enough.
Just in: N64 revealed to be the source of the previously mysterious common household pest dust. Scientists say they made this discovery when they checked the History Records and realised that there was no mention of dust before the original release of the home entertainment system in 1996. They then made the only logical conclusion.
Some error made it so our teacher had classes elsewhere, so we got off like 3 hours early which sucks because I actually like the stuff we do... Yay being home, bored (almost) all day. [editline]25th August 2014[/editline] Also finally got around to pre-ordering the what-if book this weeked http://what-if.xkcd.com/ :D
Does it make me a true lazy american to have this set up? The rubber gloves... are a nice touch?
http://i.imgur.com/XeQ63TZ.png Nope, pretty gay.
I'm visably uncomfortable.
Am I weird for preferring to hook my PS2 to my laptop via a capture box so I can play it on my laptop's monitor instead of having to put a TV in my room? I like having games right in my lap, it's why I abandoned and eventually gave away my desktop once I got my new laptop. The negligible decrease in graphics performance is more than made up for by the comfort of being able to lay down on my couch and play anything I want right there. I don't even need a mousepad, just put the mouse on the couch cushion and it works fine.
A car literally gives you a ton more freedom so yes. It's worth it.
... if you live in suburbia. If everything you do in a day can be walked/biked/public-transported to, then no. Its very expensive to own a car especially if you live in a city where you have to deal with parking costs and bad traffic. This is why most students/professionals who live/work/go-to-school in the city don't bother owning a car, and instead renting/getting a zipcar whenever they need to drive somewhere. Where I live? Lol good luck doing anything without a car.
That's me in Dundee now, settled in for the year. Bought two expensive sandwiches for dinner. I'll cook something tomorrow, but today I am shit tired. Let the year begin, I suppose.
why would you want to come to dundee, im trying to get out of here there's nothing to do
why would you want to come to dundee, im trying to get out of here there's nothing to do
Wanna hang out. I'm going to do art and design at the college because they don't do it at my local one back home. It's totally a tiny place with nothing to do, and you have no reason to leave the centre, but it's something.
yeah sure add me on steam if you want to go do something some time.
i love it when my hair is just ~fab~ all day and i don't even realize [t]http://dl.dropboxusercontent.com/u/31421373/Camera%20Uploads/IMG_20140825_150231.jpg[/t] what i mean by that is the hair on top not my lack of sharp razors facial hair
help im stranded in an airport
I love how I actually went to sleep at a reasonable time (for me anyway) and still managed to wake up at 7 pm. I'm good at sleep :v:
I wish there were people to date around here, dammit. [editline]25th August 2014[/editline]
I just made it through my first day being a Senior. Things actually went pretty well for me. I have an easy schedule, new clothes and albums, and I get to leave school more early since I don't have a sixth period anymore. I can already tell I'm going to have a really good year. I also feel a lot less stressed now.
Told you, man! Senior year is the easiest year you'll have in High School.

Even if you aren't in such a great posistion in school, just live it up and enjoy it. I didn't actually break out of my own shell until halfway through junior year. By senior year i decided to leave my school on a high note and leave a name for myself. I ended up getting a round of applause for a speech i improvised after grabbing the microphone from a friend during our last day at school. The speech was more or less what im telling you now. It's your last year and it's only going to be as good as you make it.
The new controller pak I got works great. Going to play some Mystical Ninja after work. Also, fixed the input issue by getting an RCA cable instead of the RF adaptor. Don't know if I mentioned that. Works wonderfully.
Been 6 years don't miss it one bit I love the freedom you get once you're done with hs
It varies, i infinitely prefer uni to HS but they're two different things for two different points in your life. When you leave highschool you're expected to be a completely functioning member of society. I'm still growing up myself, uni gave me a taste of that. But at the same time since leaving highschool i've learned that i pretty much need to be forced to do anything. So i only have work right now to keep me in somewhat of a schedule.
anything to do with RF is a load of all shite. RCA/Component(when available) master race.
It's all I had at the time, sadly. RCA cable was only $4 or so though. Pak was $3. N64 hardware is cheap. Still have my rumble pak and the Pokemon Stadium gameboy cartridge thing too.
Been 6 years don't miss it one bit I love the freedom you get once you're done with hs
4 years here and tbh I've never been happier in my life that I've left hs.
Funny thing is I did a clean up not to long ago and I found a freshly boxed rumble pack that was apparently supposed to be a birthday present for me (as my mother tells me).
You could totally sell that for a decent price I bet. Get a used one that works just as fine.
You could totally sell that for a decent price I bet. Get a used one that works just as fine.
I still have my old one but the battery cover broke. It still works but the batteries keep falling out now :v
High School was the drizzling shits and it was way better for me when I dropped out.
I'm headed to D.C. in a few weeks and Seattle the week after, yay. I love flying so much.
I still have my old one but the battery cover broke. It still works but the batteries keep falling out now :v
I almost never used mine, personally. It just felt too clunky, as if the N64 controller wasn't unwieldy enough.
