As said before it wasn't always like this.
Facepunch nowadays has a VERY HIGH percent of furries, but back before 2010/2009 it was still really controversial. Just as time went on people stopped caring so much, more people got into it, and then with the dawn of MLP most people just stopped bagging on most furries and would be more like "well at least you're not as bad as THOSE guys".

We used to have an entire furry subforum, and I'm immensely glad that every post in it got erased so hard they doesn't even show up in my postcount. Gay subforum was a lot more civil and less drama-prone, iirc.

Hah, I'm not doing anything, labor day is my only day off so I have some time to rest and clean the house around 'cause BF is coming over next weekend and I don't like it when the house is a mess, strangely, it's only been 5 days since I last cleaned it, my roomies aren't as clean as I am.

I don't get labor day off because [I]someone[/I] decided to give the client an idea for more particle effects in the scene. So I'm here today, tomorrow, monday, and tuesday trying to wrestle Maya's [I]terrible[/I] particle systems until my brain explodes.

I had that happen to me when I was getting major dental work done. I was guzzling down Oxy pills like nobody's business because if I didn't then I nearly passed out every time from the pain. Really annoying.

I start classes Wednesday but orientation is a full day on Tuesday.
I might just skip that and go get my textbooks since I still haven't. At the very least I know I'll need the lab manuals. I don't care about frisbees with the university logo on them.

Not sure anyone I recall is still around. Well, regardless, just went through and incredibly hard breakup of a relationship of someone I was with for 5 years. Could really use someone to talk to :/

Don't dwell too much on it. It may have been five years, but some things just aren't meant to be. And that may just mean someone better is out there for you. Best I can say, try to remember the good times and prepare yourself to make better memories with your next one.
As for the DnD talk, I've updated more to my game and will put it up later. Also, if it gets good enough, I'll expand it to more regions and add a quest/level system.

I'm part of a few ongoing games around Melbourne CBD you might wanna come watch or join in, alternatively if you rock up to RMIT's cafeteria, the Science Fiction Gaming Association meets up there on Wednesday evenings and i'm sure you'll be able to find a game (even if you aren't an RMIT student).
I took over DMimg a DND party yesterday because the normal DM arrived super late and super stoned, i slapped together an amazingly immersive encounter with a mutant shambling mound that was intended to be an almost unfair challenge, except the goddamn previous DM gave everyone so much overpowered kit they made short work of the beast.
though, that night devolved into drunken absurdity, including one of the players being mega thirsty/grindy toward me literally in front of their own partner while wildly drunk, i was too drunk to react at all, which turned out to be for the best.
I'm considering leaving Atheism and converting to the Society of Friends.
