I went to the strangest funeral ever. It wouldn't end. Everyone kept getting up and telling stories about this person and then they played fifty thousand slide shows and videos. I'm pretty sure they went wayyy over time and the guy in charge was enormously pissed off at the end, he literally pushed a guy off the lectern to get him to sit down. The family are all complete extroverts it's crazy. The most annoying part was I didn't actually really know the person so it just felt a little awkward. Still it was probably the least religious funeral I've been to and it was so much happier. Still plenty of chance to cry as well which is good so people can get it out of their system. Despite the awkwardness I would say it's the best of the like four funerals I've been to. Still I am a terrible person I spent most of the time wishing it would end so I could go home and get some work done. Then I came home and went on Facepunch.

Oh man ear candles are the best. For some reason they always really, really relax me.

So a friend convinced me to create a tinder account, and now all these cute Brazilian international students are messaging me. I could really get use to this. Anyone else use tinder or similar apps/resources?

I'll probably start volunteering for the Salvation Army so I can get used to this alien work schedule. I had a talk with my father about this and I'm really starting to love him. The big problem is convincing people to get the courage to hang out so you can actually have a proper conversation. I don't use these things anymore, but the ones I did were far dirtier and... eugh. I did meet a couple wonderful people on grindr surprisingly. My advice would be to just use it to make friends, avoid anything else. Really put the brakes on dating anyone from any online thing straight away, just make friends first. I don't use any dating apps anymore they can get scary and annoying.

So this guy I'm sort of seeing and sleeping with decided to not shave his face for a whole week. I have now discovered that beards are anti-sexy in every way. At best it tickles you whenever he puts his face on you and at worst it is distractingly itchy. It was mostly the latter and thus very uncomfortable. I had to physically drag him to the bathroom and threaten him with no sex ever again to get him to shave.

Then a while later with another guy, he showed up to my house in a rush and he hadn't shaved and boy was it sexy. It was rough but in a really good way. I dunno why the two were different.

I like beards just fine for me, as long as it's not something that came from Duck Dynasty.

I can only grow out a hair on my chin. But at least it isn't on my neck.
