Gonna take a while to do that, but when I do get the chance and all my faculties straight, I'm leaving and not coming back.
except for my family :v:
Hello guys/gals, lurked around the gmod dev/addons forums for awhile (posting now and then to help, too I guess), but have decided to be apart of here because well, gay. So hi :3

Hello!
Make a difference between distance and internet, though. If you never actually saw the person irl and started a relationship, I can see why it might not work.
You have to set limits to what you can do.
You are absolutely right...
Well, as tough as it was and as hard as it had to be, me and Heavy are no longer an item. The sheer distance between us was too great to circumvent and it was really hurting the both of us more than it was helping. We really did love eachother and there's absolutely no bad blood between us at all, but the fact that we couldn't physically be there for eachother was too tough for us both to handle.
Regardless of all that, I have a great best friend in him and so does he. I regret none of the time we spent together one bit, and it was the happiest year of my entire life, guaranteed. To anyone who is currently in an LDR, don't let this discourage you. If you are perfectly happy with who you're with, stay with them. We made eachother happy the best we could and it was completely worth every second, I can't state it enough. It really is worth all the heartache, and yes. It CAN work out in the end. And if it doesn't, don't let that stop you if you still feel good about it and yourself.
Everything will be okay, no matter what. <3
Just went through the same situation with somebody recently. Won't name him as he knows I'm on Facepunch, but he's an amazing guy and we both still chat every once in a while, but it's indeed the physical seperation that just doesn't allow LDR's to work. I am sorry to hear this.
You can love someone until the end of the world, but the physical seperation ends up harming you. I've been through the ringer there recently, with the guy I had a fling with in Reno several months ago. We fell out badly after I got mixed signals. I eventually repaired my friendship with him, but I still love him to this day.
I was at Comic-Con with him, and even though I was physically standing within inches of him, he may as well been a million miles away. Even if the seperation isn't physical, it's sometimes emotional. Seperation kills relationships and badly harms your mental state.
Annnnnnd i just missed my bus thanks to me leaving the wallet under the pillow and forgetting about it.
I FUCKING HATE IT WHEN THAT HAPPENS.
So is Tinder for gays just a more classy version of Grindr, or is it still used mainly for hookups?
Much more classy version of grindr from my experience but it also leads to a much greater disconnect and level of confidence. People aren't nearly as forward.
but it's indeed the physical seperation that just doesn't allow LDR's to work. I am sorry to hear this.
I really wanted to believe this wasn't a thing and that we could keep going despite the ocean length barrier.
But sadly I believe that it is indeed true especially for one that's been running for over a year. Lack of physical contact really takes it's toll on you after a year.
Usually it could be circumvented, but both of our financial situations just meant neither of us had the money to get to each other. We hoped it'd have changed by now but alas, it did not, and the pain of separation took us both.
But I'm sure Sparks can find someone closer and better, he's too nice a guy to end up alone, and if he's happy with it, then I am too c:
I never really thought about it but I am also getting increasingly frustrated that my girlfriend is so far away. Some mornings I feel like bursting into tears because I just want to have someone there.

This is kinda why i don't do long distance relationships any more
This is kinda why i don't do long distance relationships any more
It's awful not being there, but I don't want to be with anyone else.
I consider being miserable for a few years worthwhile if we eventually get to be together.
Now I feel really bad about talking about my girlfriend... if my posts earlier seemed like bragging, I'm seriously sorry, I didn't mean it
Nah it doesn't sound like bragging at all.

I was just like that too
Hope things work out for you
And I am not sure what to do about this bite on my arm. Do spider/insect bites just clear up? This seems to be getting worse but some places say they should clear up overnight and others say they clear up over a week.
It's really itchy but I dunno if I am just worried over nothing. My parents insist I do nothing except rub some stuff on it.
Go to the doctors, they really shouldn't last a week.

I only noticed it yesterday morning. It just happens to be right on a vein.
I think I will get it looked at. I am sick of my family thinking these kinds of things should be ignored or haphazardly bandaged over. Nothing is hurt by getting it checked.

Love waking up to find out the systems admin is out and our other tech is out...Today is going to be a fun day at work.
gta v was given a release date. Consoles get first dibs in november, pc doesn't see it until january 27.
Whelp, looks like im buying a ps4 and gta v two more times. This is why my friend hates me.
WAIT FOR THE PC RELEASE DAMN IT.
Just don´t buy a PS4 for just 1 game tho.
It´s like i buy a titan card for browsing the web. (Okay maybe that wasnt that good of a allocation but i think you get my point.)
They say patience is the virtue eh?
nah i've had an interest in a ps4 since before release, was just waiting for more games to come out. I'm getting one eventually no matter what.
Also i desperately need AA in gta v. The game kills my eyes when im using my capture card and playing at monitor's length away, even on large screen tv's it doesn't help much.
snippity snip
My brother bought an Xbox One the other day. The only game I am interested in is that Master Chief thing but I'm not buying a console for one game. Or 2/3 games technically but I'd rather not regardless.

PS4 and XBONE versions wont have AA, check the PS4 screenshots, there isn't any.

The sole fact alone that its not an upscaled 720 res makes the picture significantly better with less noticeable jaggies.
Just assembled my new Galant and set my PC up, i'm very happy! :D

So? The point you made about not liking it isn't even a valid one as the consoles wont support AA.
Don't get me wrong here but I don't really see the point of getting it on the new consoles when it wont have a feature that you want.
Isn't that kinda defeating the purpose?
