Christ. Today is like the one day I can say I was stressed with work. Down two people out of a four person department. One of whom was our systems administrator. So things were ultra busy and just swamped with work. To top it off, I got a phone call from the "front desk" (we have two phones labeled front desk, one at the actual desk and one by the security door) asking for me to come out to the front and it turns out it was a constituent (who's also my friend's grandmother and bff's with my grandfather) who was pissed that she hasn't been able to complain to the mayor for nine weeks, and the mayor's assistant as been giving her the run around. So I had to take a bunch of shit from that. I go let the mayor's assistant know what's up, and he blows me off with a "i'll call her back" (he told her this before multiple times and never did, he's just trying to make it go away, and hasn't called her back yet). Fuck sake, I'm in the IT Department, not the Constituency Bitching Department.

[QUOTE=Reagy;45966257]My cat farted.[/QUOTE] you know. that's one of those things that i wonder if it's actually a thing. i've never heard a cat fart. i've heard a dog fart. i definitely know when my dog lets one rip. but my cats? nope. maybe they're very courteous about their farting and do it outside my room. who knows. but in other news, i saw a hurt pigeon today. i was mowin my grandfather's lawn and i saw this pigeon hoppin along the lawn, he (i'm assuming it was a he, i unno) was trying to fly but couldn't. he tried to jump up on this ramp thing they have goin on in the yard and couldn't. he flopped on his back and couldn't roll over unto his little feeties. i got some gloves and got him back on his feet and he waddled under my grandfather's van and sat under there the whole time while i mowed the lawn. i felt so bad for him :( but i left him a nice pile of bird feed, i tried coaxing him out but he wouldn't take the bait. i got desperate and made pigeon sounds but to no avail. i hope the birdie is okay :(

So...I emailed the mayor about that disgruntled lady. Turns out that staff met with her several times and they addressed what issues they could. Basically angry lady sounds crazy, and from other things I've heard, kinda racist.

I've quite lurked this place for a while, because somehow I just never felt like posting in this thread because anxiety reasons. Since i'm bisexual, I hope its alright if I join you guys. Heavyguy, Mysterious and Kaden know me already and I hope we could become good friends.
