Got really drunk with a friend yesterday. Staggered into subways and bought a sandwich, soda, and two cookies and went home. Had a long day so all I had the energy to do was climb into bed and cuddle my sandwich. Woke up the next day, still a little drunk, and my sandwich was still in its bag! It was like a gift from past-drunk me to future-drunk me. I gave myself breakfast in bed, thanks me.
So i started my college part of my apprenticeship on Friday... I am possibly the oldest one there (23) and everybody else seems to be 18-20 and they are all quite shy, so 7 of us didn't have our ID badges so we had to go down and get them, since they were shy i had to be the one to talk to the college heads for information on how to get them.
Stupid me being automatically nice to everyone, this very very strange girl has managed to latch onto me like an insect and will not leave me alone. Her first opening conversation was how she got some award for something and she is holding onto it for a year and the award came about because of her best friend dying and getting hit by a car because she dropped her shoe in the road.
It took all my effort to not say "your friend was an idiot for going into the middle of the road when a car was coming to get a shoe" but anyway, i went into our last lesson, she was sitting in the corner and i sat near the front. She got up and moved next to me.... I then waited behind to talk to our head guidence guy to tell him about my holiday and after 15mins of the lesson finished, i left and she was waiting outside for me to walk out of college together.
I'm hesitant to tell her i'm gay because she seems the crazy type that would obsess over people and stab someone in the neck if they got close to the person they want.
She was hanging around this other girl for most of the day and i'm guessing the other girl lied and said she wasn't feeling well to get away from her (used basic body communication showing she was uncomfortable talking to her)
Why do i give off this friendly persona or something that makes people want to be friends with me. I'm horrible and like being alone lol.
Fuck it anyway, spent the last 2 weeks jumping through hoops to get a course in Web Development, i even did an interview and it went amazingly, and now they moved the course to the arse end of dublin with no bus access, now i can't do the course.
Here's to another year of doing nothing.

Web Dev is not as fun as you think, specially working. You do the most boring and mind numbingly easy work, repetitively.

I've already done a year of a three year course, i couldn't afford to continue and left early with no qualification, i enjoyed it and i'd like to make a career of it.

Ahhh right, well im working for an IT & Networking firm atm as an apprentice. They hired me because i do Graphic Design on the side. I'm currently learning CSS & Javascript atm.

Wait, what? I don't understand.
If your asking if my job position is safe, yes it is. They are understaffed as it is, they can't afford firing people. I'm happy I have a job and I'm a full time student, but not having a day to just stop gets exhausting.

ArcheAge from what I've seen sounds like the first MMO in forever to actually get me to want to play it. It looks really engaging. The lead designer wanted to make an MMO that married old-school "totally open do anything go anywhere" MMO design of the early 90's with a lot of the elements you got from questing-oriented "themepark style" MMOs like Guild Wars and WoW. The result is something that kind of plays like a light version of eve-online where there are pirate faction players, trade routes, building houses/properties, getting your stuff ganked if you travel through not-safe zones (aka any place that is higher than level 30), etc but still has a lot of the PvE stuff you expect out of an MMO like guild wars. And unlike both of those games the world is mostly not instanced or cut up by loading screens, its totally open like Skyrim is.
So a chick I went to hs with started posting on Facebook about a pole fitness contest she's participating in.

Its F2P, so no cost. Obviously there are monetary things you can buy, though it isn't really that bad from what I looked at. No pay to win items or anything like that, the worst thing is your labor production (used for crafting, farming, unlocking bonus loot packs, etc) is much lower if you are free vs not free. Isn't a problem if you are just questing or PvP or whatever (you'll get enough labor and not spend enough of it to generally have enough to open bonus loot and craft here and there), but if you are focusing a lot on doing a trade, lots of crafting, or building it can be slow on free. Which isn't a huge deal to me.
But good luck getting in. Ques are 1-3+ hrs long on all servers and you can't even buy patron status (aka $15/mo) to skip ques (among getting other things) because the entire purchasing system is broken right now
