Due to certain events, I'm in a similiar situation. And as a warning to others, don't move in with your partners unless you know each other damn well and can withstand each other for extended periods of time.

I have to find a way to get out of the situation with minimal emotional and financial pain.

I hate those sorts of questions. Technically there is no "wrong" answer, but you know there are things that you really don't want to say and that the interviewer is looking for. I'm also not a fast thinker and especially bad at coming up with things to say on the fly.

I can't afford to split the ticket either, have quite a few expenses coming up that are expensive and unavoidable.

Regarding the "She could be lying about the funds", I know she's not as I've seen her bank account funds which aren't that high. She's been here since the 4th of July, not paying rent or anything.

At the moment we are on ok terms, a friend managed to help calm her down last night and we went out, got some ice cream and food. She's had to change her antidepressents but that's going to take 4 weeks to kick in.

I'm still very so-so about it, but I'm going to wait out the con this weekend and a few days after that. Of course if she goes crazy at the con I'll take her home.
