So in a surprise turn of events...my girlfriend is now friends with my ex after the convention and is able to stand mention of exes. Reason for this, she was fursuiting (Yes it was a furry con), interacted well with another suiter (ex). Next minute it's just "Oh, they aren't that bad after all". Also had a few deep and meaningfuls about this that and the other and sorted and said a hell of a lot of things that we really needed to. Only thing that made the con kinda meh compared to others was roomate drunk every night, then doing things to me like ripping out back hair, punching me etc while I had some sleep paralysis or something.
