Have these tickling inflamed taste buds at the end of my tongue and they're so itchy and icky and brb licking my razor get these damn things OFF MY TONGUE AHH
Not the same but I bit the side of my tongue something fierce when I was having lunch and it was the sensitive part too so I was in pain for a while.
The pro and con of being home alone: Pro: Alright! I'm all alone and I get to house to myself and I can be as loud as I want! Con: I'm all alone ;-;
I wish i could be home alone if only to do cool things like walking around naked
Twice in a week 2 people have asked me if I am from Ireland because apparently I have a bit of Irish in my accent. I am sure I am somewhere down the line based on my last name, but 2 people noticing in a single week after years of no one mentioning it struck me as odd.
I kinda don't like being Irish. Because everyone is Irish, it loses it's impact. Polish on the other hand is something I embrace more.
You're not American?
I was having a kind of panic attack but my friend couldn't talk on the phone so he suggested I try a walk instead. My mum was still up though and she was so suspicious. She asked if she could come with me and I said yes because I wasn't actually doing anything sus. Ended up being a really good thing we spoke about lots of things and apparently she had similar panic attacks when she was studying so that's nice to hear. I also spoke to her about a relationship I had had and how it's hard to deal with this kind of thing if the person you normally talk to about it is your ex boyfriend. I felt very happy about how it had all gone afterwards and motivated too. Which means I now can't get to sleep. Great :v:
You're not American?
Isnt almost every white american 1/100th irish atleast?
Fuck. My cold is mostly gone, but it's taken my voice with it D: On the topic of nationality, I've got a lot of Native American in me, with some Irish and Scottish in as well. Other than that, my real ancestry is shrouded in mystery, especially on my dad's side because they never kept any sort of record for black people back then. I DO know that I'm related to a lot of outlaws, namely Jesse James. That's pretty awesome.
My sister wrote this it nearly made me cry. But also I am an emotional wreck so that's not hard to do: -snip- Didn't want it showing up on google.
Man, I could use a book like this. [t]http://i.imgur.com/1TNUhqn.jpg[/t]
-Snip- on request That was adorable.
-Awesome sibling story-
My mom just came in to investigate why the heck I was rolling on the floor, lauging my ass off. Aaaaah, my poor sides are now travelling on the same orbit as moon men's paradise...

What are some subtle ways to hint to a guy that you're interested in them?
What are some subtle ways to hint to a guy that you're interested in them?
"Coffee sometime?"
You're not American?
Sorry, I should have been more clear, I was talking about heritage. From my father I get Irish and English, and from my Mother I get Polish and German.
What are some subtle ways to hint to a guy that you're interested in them?
Be slightly more physical than normal. Not over-so, but not being afraid of breaking a little personal space to brush his sides, have your arm rest on him or something along those lines. If its making him uncomfortable then stop, obviously though. Some people just don't react to that sort of thing at all well. Compliments that are apropreate for the context. Don't go "hey, you look hot" or anything out of left field (unless you think they'd really react good to that, but chances are they don't if you need advice on being subtle). But if he looks good don't be afraid to let him know. Don't be afraid to let him see your eyes checking him out. If it really seems like he's not catching on, then you might need to be more blunt or take a hint that he's not interested. Mostly just act natural and get to know him. Hang out and do stuff together to pick up on him and learn more things about him. Doing that is the easiest way to show a guy you are interested in him because you'll naturally come interested and learn about each other just by being around him. This obviously takes time though and takes becoming a friend first. But its a good way to go about it if you have the time to and are really bad at flirting/hinting.
Sorry, I should have been more clear, I was talking about heritage. It's so far back how is it any relevant
I don't get that thing about Americans knowing and being proud of their grandparents having irish/German/polish wharves heritage though. Or maybe he was a German who fought in the trenches of WWI.
Family history is important to learn, but I think that white people who are all "I'm 1/16th Irish, 1/4th Italian, blah blah blah" are silly. Just my two cents. I live in Oklahoma and everyone here wants to be Native American SO bad.
St. Patrick's Day looses some appeal when we're all wearing crappy pins and acting out Irish stereotypes.
You mean it isn't just an excuse to wear green and get shitfaced?
You mean it isn't just an excuse to wear green and get shitfaced?
especially that. Fuck green beer, I'd rather eat Polish jelly cookies.

Sure knowing who he is and what he did is cool but acting like your great grandfather moving from Poland when he was 2 gives you "polish heritage" is kinda bull. Your parents were born and raised in the US and so were you.
