Wtf, on the payroll website I have a paycheck listed as being deposited into my bank account on 10/10/14. Bank account doesn't show a deposit and today is the 9th... I'm confused :(

The system has already made all the checks (I assume your payday is Friday right?) but because they marked the date of the check as tomorrow, the bank can't process it until tomorrow because it hasn't even been submitted yet.

And when women do it, it's the same thing. I personally think it's way too much. Back in high school I used to know a number of people dressing like an emo/goth. But it never got near that much in accessories.

I've seen plenty of arguments of people stating that 60 bucks is a fair price and that if anything were underpaying for videos games but most of them are based on inflation and purely inflation. Like unless a game is fantastically good or if i'm an ardent fan of the series or developers then i have no issue with paying 60. But when the typical pc game is 40 or 50 bucks while consoles are 60 knowing that the price difference is usually due to licensing fees for consoles, i will refuse to pay that 60 bucks for the pc version when no addition fees had to be paid on the developers part. Somewhat reminds me of how recently that one game coming out for ps4/xbone was locked to 900p and 30fps to avoid hardware favoritism and superior console debates but all it did was annoy ps4 players who had to play on xbone's level when they paid for a machine that can perform better. It's like a sort of "Babies can't chew steak so no one gets a steak" sort of thing.

Just upgraded my graphics drivers. Went from 29FPS in Alien Isolation to 65FPS. And here I was worried that my buzz would be gone before I had a chance to play...
