I'm generally not okay with clothing made out of fur. Why wear it when you could wear something that doesn't involve the senseless slaughtering of animals?

Eating meat benefits you. Wearing an animal carcass won't do anything for you unless you're naked and out in the wilderness and absolutely have to do it to survive.

Eating meat and decorating yourself dead animals are very different.

I mean, the slaughtering part isn't savory to think about or anything, but the meat is actually beneficial. Just wish people were a bit more humane with how they went about it. Most of my neighbors hunt animals for sport and because "they have no souls so they can't feel." Good ol' Bible Belt.

The thing is with fur there's less regulation about how the animals are killed, with meat it's humane, dead before they know it.

Eating meat isn't really pointless, considering it has a helluva lot more protein than most of the 'alternatives' that are out there. I mean, there ARE other things we could eat, but we're omnivores. Humans are basically hard wired to eat meat AND vegetables, not one over the other, since we've been doing it for as long as we have existed. And it promotes growth better than anything else. It's more of just a general health thing. Fur is completely pointless now that we have cotton.

Fursuits and mascots freak me out equally. I get a really strong uncanny valley vibe and get really uncomfortable.
