You see, the gravitational pull was distort due to the nearby death star which fired a pulse ripple causing the object to float upwards. Neh, it was a week later and I couldn't remember where it had gone, in all honesty. :v:

But combined with the explosion from his gunfire, setting the back engine on fire, the explosion radius would of been enough to light the back of the ship, spreading to the front combined with the gravitational pull of the object on the flames, no? :v:

The back would light first, but then it would easily spread to the front as it burst into rubble. Plus, the time it's in the rubble it's constantly lighting, bearing in mind it had been travelling downwards for a week... :v:
