Shit, that was a fuckin' fad running around my school in seventh grade. I hate to brag but I made this cool pistol that you could pull back and it would spring forward. You put the dart shaped bullet in a hole at the top when you pull it back. The clip was non-functional but it kept all your bullets in. I also made up an Uzi design by folding paper so it looked like a spring and putting a bunch of darts on it. You shot most of the guns in this fad (If not all) by blowing the barrel on the other side, so the Uzi was the one I was trying to make automatic. My friend finally managed to perfect the design. Some people made some lame ass neanderthal guns that looked like shit, some people just used a pipe with oversized darts to launch the hell out of them (Guess it was the pressure). Some people just made hornets (or Wasps, if you call them that) and rubber bands to launch them at people. These were probably the most painful, but the least stylish, because they looked like some sort of shitty half slingshot while firing it. After a while, some of the bullets were going fast enough to poke holes in people. It wasn't before long before some shit started going down and people started rolling up pant legs and wearing colors to symbolize "teams". It was all some sort of underground effort to not get shot. After a while the whole thing got shut down and everyone who was involved got detention and a stern talking-to from the principal. I was probably one of the biggest contenders in these events, but I managed to slink my way out of this one. Well, this is a long ass post, (Well, sort of) and sorry if it sucked ass to you.
