Some guy "GET TO THE CHOPPA!"
some other guy (in bad Austrian accent) "Shut up, you're not awesome enough to quote Arnold.... GET TO THE CHOPPA!!"

Some guy: *points to my Sig* Is that.....a G36?
Aaaah memories.
That reminds me.
Some kid: *points to my Xcelerator* Thats a nice desert eagle!
 happened at least 3 times now
Probably a kid below 13. Every pistol is a "deagle" to them.
Last game day:-
Team Leader
"OK is everyone clear 'bout the plan"
Team Members
"OK" "Righto" "Gotcha"
...
...
...
New kid
"Wait, what do we do if this plan goes tits up? Do we have a plan B?"
Team Leader
"Erm... kill 'em all"
New kid
"I like it, Can we make that plan A instead?"
Today's game had a few funnies in:
"Cheeky Bastards are over there!"
A guy in FULL waffen SS kit "ZIS IS FOR DEUTSCHLAND!"
Team Leader after 10 minute tactic talk "Fuck it, lets wing it"
I just remembered a few from last Sunday's game.
During briefing, talking about rules regarding cheats not calling hits...
"...the best way to tell is if they do the dance, you probably got them"
"What dance?"
"Any ballroom or latin, points will be awarded for style, choreography and artistic impression"
and on grenades ...
"If a grenade lands near you, don't grab a kid and throw him onto it to save the rest of you..."
and on knife kills (or lack thereof)
"We don't have any knives here, not even the rubber or plastic blades. If I saw somebody creeping up behind me with any knife, they're going to get a rifle butt in the face"

FUCKING HELL, I DIDN'T EXPECT THAT
- Me after leading a small squad into an ambush of three enemies with MGs
Thankfully I and a new kid got out safe. Unfortunately, the other 3 good players(apart from me, the kid was utter shit) were taken out by the massive volley fire of the MGs. I later succumbed to another MG.
I only later found out the enemy team was comprised of six friends with MGs and 6 random guys.
Today:
Me: "Hey guys, is that the enemy?"
Other guy: "I don't know but I think they are trying to shoot us so lets shoot back."
Me and my cousin were getting something to drink at the paintball place where we play, this girl (probably about 20) looks at us and asks her dad, "Are those the things that kill?".
Another time me and some guys were chatting, I had an AKS-74, another guy had a black AK 74 (Can't remember the name now) and the last guy had an M14. This paintballer walks up to us and says, "Oh nice, three AK47s, nice, nice."
:ghost:

I uhh..
Jesus christ.
[editline]10:24PM[/editline]
Me: "Where are they at?"
Teammate: "I saw one go towards the tunnel on your right"
Me: *Shoots through window*
Poor Bastard: "OH FUCK MY TONGUE" *goes out*
Me: "oh god ahahaha"
Proof that once more, paintballers have no clue what they're talking about.

I bet if you show any normal person who doesn't know a thing about guns they'll just call it an AK47. It's not an interest of theirs, so why would they remember the exact model name?

Why would they judge the gun based on the look though? I mean if you have three assault rifles, and then a sniper, what would cause a thought in your mind that they're the same?
Most AK's share more the less the same general design and shape, so that explains in people thinking it's an AK47. Hell even my dad called his AKS-74 and AK47 for a while, now he just calls it an AK. As for the M14, no excuse with that, but a M14 isn't exactly a true sniper rifle, only a DMR.

While that is true, I think common sense would dictate people's responses to the look of a weapon. I don't know every model of AK out there, but I know not every one is the same.
Holy shit nice AK47 in your avatar.
theres wood on it it must be an ak
theres wood on it it must be an ak
Shh. Don't tell.
I was just going through some footage I took with my headcam a few weeks back, and heard the most idiotic comment:
They just ducked behind those trees
The site is a dense woodland, "those trees" isn't much of a description.
I then realised that it was my voice. :downs:

To people who don't know anything about guns, a gun is either an AK-47, an M16, a Desert Eagle or an Uzi.
What if they see a bullpup? What is it then?
[editline]07:10AM[/editline]
And the G36=/=SIG 552 thing happened to me again.
Pssh.... Don't buy this gun, it's not good at all. The piston and gears stripped in 300 rounds.
Staff member at AEX told me this when I went to test fire the new ARES G36. Sort of sucked to hear this, but he saved me $360.
That employee was a good man.
You should tip him. Don't they normally get payed commission?
