When I was in Georgia for 3 days, there was a restraunt called 'Stake n' Shake'. It's my favorite restruant.
One more I forgot, Forefathers Cheesesteak in Tempe, AZ is really good also. I guess for someone who's going to be going to philly anyways it doesn't really matter, but they're really good. Especially with a side of sweet potato fries.
Blimpy Burger in Ann Arbor is a must for the best burgers in America.
I'll have to go there next time i visit my cousin!
Central New York represent! If you come to here (:v:) there's some bitchin' pasta. In New Hartford (it's a town) there's Georgio's which serves greens (lots of veggies served together) In Utica there is Teddy's which serves these: http://is.gd/TQBSSK There really aren't any big places around here, but it's still good.
Nope, North Carolina has at least 2.
Made a mistake while thinking about Pudgie's pizza, fixed. [editline]10th February 2011[/editline] Speaking of which Pudgie's is an awesome pizza chain too.
This is why we think most Americans are morbidly obese.
lol, type in British Teeth on google images.

If you happen to pass through Elko, Nevada, stop by 9 Beans and a Burrito. They have fucking massive burritos, best Mexican food I've ever had. You get a burrito that weighs a pound for 3 dollars and a foot-high ice cream cone for 1.
Oh another one I can suggest from when I lived in Chicago: Cholie's Pizza, it's right across the street from where I used to live in Chicago, IL. They have some awesome pizza if you get it fresh and it's even good reheated. Their pizza burgers and pasta dishes are delicious too.
This is one of the best places for lunch in chicago... Fuckin Lukes. Hellva price, good luck finding a seat in this place during lunch rush. Not only do you have to wait in line for an hour for lunch, its fucking worth it. Even in this weather. Hot Dougs is quite possibly, the best fast food restaurant in this country, even perhaps, the world.
Here's some of the local places we got in the Florida Keys (I suck on details): The Fish House http://www.fishhouse.com/ (There is annoying music on it) Only eaten here a few times, but it never disappoints. The Encore is their adjacent restaurant that is "Classy" and expensive all the while. High price for high quality food though. Doc's Diner http://docsdinerkeylargo.com/ (INSANELY FUCKING DELICIOUS BREAKFAST) I've eaten here numerous times, and really, not one thing on their menu that I did not like. Whale Harbor http://www.whaleharborinn.com/ Wahoo's http://www.wahoosontheisland.com/ Good quality restaurant. Braza Lena http://www.brazalena.com/ (There are currently two in all of the keys. One in Islamorada and one in Key West) I personally have never eaten here, but from local opinions it's a pretty good place. Always emphasized as not being the best though. Still a place to check out. Hog Heaven Sports Bar http://www.hogheavenbarandgrill.com/ (Never been there, but hey, it's a bar) The convenient part of the entire Florida Keys is that we are on a single chain of islands. That also means one single road that goes from Key Largo, all the way to Key West, so you'll never miss any of these places. (Over 100 miles down and yet not over a mile wide anywhere. Key West is positively beautiful though, considering it is the absolute southern most town in all of the United States)
Totally forgot about this place. Pete's Fish and Chips is amazing too. someone even did graffiti honoring it.
Also, you should go to Julie Ann's in Crystal Lake, IL. Sure I'm partial because my family owns it, but I fucking love their ice cream.
Boosalis. I think I'm understood as this dough boy here.
The Vortex in Atlanta. Best fucking hamburgers ever. http://www.thevortexbarandgrill.com/ LOOK AT THAT SHIT
I love Taylor Street Pizza (Atleast the on in Elgin, IL.), has the best pizza around. http://www.taylorstpizza.com/ Also this place has fucking awesome hot dogs and chocolate molts.
If you go through South Carolina, you should definitely check out the Dog & Duck. They make the best burgers I've ever had. http://www.dogandduckfamilypubs.com/
I'm not even from the US, but i remember going to Philippe the Original in LA. The most amazing roast beef sandwich ever.
someone even did graffiti honoring it. [img_thumb]http://filesmelt.com/dl/DSC_00801.JPG[/img_thumb]
lol I remember this
Casey's Diner in Natick, MA. [img_thumb]http://img842.imageshack.us/img842/6268/caseysdiner.jpg[/img_thumb] Greatest hot dogs I've ever had in my entire life. I know the owners personally, and our families have been bros since at least the 40s. Apparently, their hot dogs are specially made, so you can't buy them anywhere else. They also serve burgers and pies (the dessert kind, not the pizza kind). It's a bit small (standing room only, if all 10 chairs are taken), but it's really cozy and really friendly. The current record for most hot dogs eaten in one sitting there is 36. And no, the guy didn't die as soon as he finished.
Dude, I've been there, and I can vouch for those things. Damned good if you ask me, and it's awesomely quaint, cozy, and greasy spoon-y. Also, greetings from Norfolk county man, good to see another guy from Mass on here.
There is a -small- chain of restaurants in the Pittsburgh, PA area that goes by the name of "Primanti Brothers" that makes the best damn sandwiches you will ever taste: They pile fries, sauerkraut, and virtually any other topping you can imagine onto the sandwich. So many meats, cheeses, and others things to choose from. I once had a bacon and sausage sandwich, and it was the most delicious thing I have ever tasted. You'd probably have to look for a map of them online, there are several you could find, but the original is in the deepest part of the city. Not to say that it is any less good.
I was here once http://www.katzdeli.com/ if you're looking for a genuine deli experience
Golden China in Moore Oklahoma, it's the family owned one in the dodgy neighborhood.
Anywhere that sells poutine.
lol I remember this
Sadly they fenced that place off, so going back's a little more difficult. I want to go here some day, but it's ridiculously secure: [img_thumb]http://www.mikeolbinski.com/wp-content/uploads/2010/05/2010-05-01-MillAvenueSilo-IMG_4329.jpg[/img_thumb]
Cooper's BBQ in Llano, TX. Cooper's Yelp Cooper's Old Time BBQ
I ate there. It was empty and the BBQ was mediocre at best, was a major let down.
Only a few blocks away from my place: Bootleggers (Granite Falls, MN) Couldn't get a better picture but there ya go. -Steak -Fish -Shrimp -Awesome
