I mentioned this to Craptasket in the gmf (lol leaking gmf content) but you have got to eat at the Picante Grill - local to you guys and somewhat local to me, it's in SA. maybe you've been to it but it is really really awesome food. Visit it before you leave SA - if you haven't been there already that is
Portillo's

God, I love a good Italian Beef sandwich.
There's also a local place that serves food similar to Portillo's, but there is a different atmosphere and it's comparatively cheaper. It's called Charkies. Although I doubt you'd stop by there, there's only like 1 restaurant. If you do stop by suburbia and choose to go there, give me a heads up so I can meet some people that I kinda know from the internet :v:
[img_thumb]http://www.tuscanyconstruction.net/images/projects/charkies/charkies_01.jpg[/img_thumb]
Oh, and these restaurants are Chicago and the Chicagoland area, I don't think I mentioned that yet
You guys should pick me up in MA and take me along. I like food, and road trips.

This place a few minutes from my house in Tampa, Florida. A little hole in the wall place owned by this really badass old Marine guy named Richard Wolfe. He's in there everyday at 3AM making pancake batter. If you go around 4AM, he'll let you in and just sit and talk, he's a pretty chill guy, and they're literally the best pancakes I've ever had. They have other stuff too, the pancakes are the highlight though.
There is a series of burger joints around Seattle called Dick's.

The burgers are cheap, decent in size and pretty damn good. Unfortunately there isn't any locations in my neck of the woods in the Eastside of Seattle, so getting a Dick's Deluxe is a little bit of a drive than I'd like to normally take.
Though there is another burger joint a couple blocks from my apartment called The Ranch Drive-in. The food is amazing but it is a bit more expensive ($10 for a meal rather than $4 or $5 at Dick's).
Meaningless map for you all to look at:

In Birch Run, Michigan near Highway I-75 there is a restaurant called Tonys that have huge BLTS and banana splits

The BLTs contain a pound of bacon, and the Banana split has a half gallon of icecream
I've never eaten the BLT, but next time we go there, me and my family are gonna share the Banana Split
Roosevelt's Bar n' Grill
Best Buffalo burgers ever.

Michigan has good food :v:
[editline]Edit:[/editline]
RIP Roosevelt's
It has unfortunately shut down :smith:
I'm fortunate enough to live in Pacifica, California, home of Gorilla Barbecue.

Cafe Poca Cosa in Tucson, AZ has a great and dynamic menu, and if you do end up here make sure to stop by the Arizona Sonoran Desert Museum, which is the nation's most integrated and innovative zoo in terms of seamlessly combining animal habitats with the surrounding area.
Also, stop by Big Ass Sandwiches in Portland, OR. Don't protest when they put the fries inside the sandwich, it makes them angry.
Benito's Brick Oven Pizza In South Carolina is freaking amazing. All i've had there is the pepperoni brick oven pizza, so i can't comment on the other stuff, but that pizza is in my opinion the best pizza i've ever ate, go to it if you are close to it!
Diners, Drive-Ins and Dives on Food Network is awesome for something like this
The Whale Harbor Inn in Key Largo, FL is a pretty good seafood buffet.

Cafe Flore in San Francisco. This place was basically my childhood.
Twin Anchors in Chicago:

Famous rib place, was also used as the bar scene with two face in The Dark Knight. I ate there once, it was fantastic.

Now, something a little more local to me:
Meers Store and Restraunt, home of the Meers Burger in Meers, Oklahoma:

I have never eaten there personally, but I've heard its damn good. They apparently got nationally known when Travel Channel put them on America's Best... Best Places For American Eats From Steak to Pizza, so that should tell you something.
http://www.meersstore.com/
Eischen's Bar in Okarche, Oklahoma:

This is a pretty well known fried chicken place here that's apparently fricken' amazing as well. I wish to go up there one day and try some, I think it's around 40 minutes away or less from where I live. It was on Diners, Dive-Ins, and Drives as well, so that's a plus.
Cattlemen's Steakhouse in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma:

Famous for being in a historic area of Oklahoma City and for having amazing steaks. This was also on Diners, Dive-Ins, and Drives. I went there once, it was a long wait, but the steak was pretty damn delicious.
http://www.cattlemensrestaurant.com/
Ted's Cafe Escondido in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma:

This is seriously some of the best damn mexican food you can get in Oklahoma City. The tortillas are always puffy and fresh, and the fajitas are AMAZING. I love this place.
http://www.tedscafe.com/
Coit's Root Beer Stand in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma:

This place is dear to me, because I have fond memories of going to this place with my grandpa. The Root-Beer is FUCKING AWESOME. They serve it in these big glass beer steins, which they chill in the refirgerator/freezer to make it even more awesome/cold when they serve it to you. They also have some good hotdogs as well.
Hope that helps if you ever you come visit Oklahoma.
Those onion rings from Meer's look AMAZING.
I don't live there, but when my family and I took a trip out west, we stayed in Springdale, Utah (it is just outside of Zion National Park-- if you get the chance to see it, or enjoy hiking, GO SEE IT! It's an amazing area!). There was a cafe that we ate at a few times, called Oscar's Cafe. If you get the chance to go there for breakfast, they make granola fresh every morning, it was the best granola I've ever had and it was great fuel for the hiking that day. They also made a killer breakfast burrito. I don't know if you are looking for anything like that to do, but if you are, you should totally try going there, it's worth it.
There was also a place called the Bumbleberry Inn restaurant across the street from Oscar's, which was really good too. Bumbleberry pie was amazing, and they had a salad dressing for the salads made out of desert sage (I'd never have thought that it would be good, but it was tasty as fuck). But yeah, those two restaurants out there were REALLY good.
IF YOU EVER GO TO RENO, NV
There is a small Chinese restaurant called the Asian Garden on the intersection of Virginia Street and Plumb Lane (2 major streets) next to a Motel 6.
Looking at it you would assume it's an overpriced shitty slop shop for all the broke people that stay at Motel 6 who are too lazy to go somewhere better. You would be dead wrong. I live in the SF Bay Area. I have had a wide spectrum of really good and really shitty Asian food. I know what the price ranges are. Generally you have to pay a lot and wait a long time to get good Chinese. This place however is like an anomaly from the Twilight Zone or something. It is dirt cheap. You can eat for about 10$ and you won't just be getting a tiny morsel either. Their servings are generous. If you're trying to save cash (because you gambled it all away) you can easily split a meal between two people. So you would assume it's poor quality? Nope. It isn't the best I've had but it is damn good. Much better than what you'd expect. Despite being more of a Chinese place they also serve Sushi and a few other Japanese dishes. Their Sushi like the main courses is cheap and surprisingly good.
To put things simply it's one of those legendary hole-in-the wall Chinese places that offers tons of good food for dirt cheap. One of those places you only hear rumors of. The place gets hit-or-miss reviews on Yelp though. I still always drop in any time I'm going anywhere near Reno or Lake Tahoe and I've never been disappointed.
In-n-out burger
good prices and the burgers don't taste like ass
If you have the money, and feel like going to a small town in Tennessee. This place is fantastic.
http://www.crawdaddysgrill.com/
That, or Thomas Andrews.
Filepes (I think that's how you spell it) it's right near aole Vera street in CA los angeses, and they've got some pro-grade sammiches. Even better than that is the Boneyard. Also in ca, best. Steaks. Ever. Everythings either ultra high-grade or Kobe beef.
You guys are awesome. I have a great list goin'. Keep 'em comin.
There's a local hot dog place called Scooby's Red Hots, but most people just call it Scooby's since that's what it says on the sign v:v:v
[img_thumb]http://www.myscoobyshotdogs.com/images/scoobylogo_3q0g_p47m_80mx.jpg[/img_thumb]
Just like with the last places I suggested, it's in the Chicagoland area and give me a heads up if it's on your list. Also, I'm pretty sure that my father is still good friends with the owner of the one of IL Route 64, I'd have to ask since it's been a while.

Oh man, They don't have In-n-out around where I live, but when I took a trip to Vegas, the first and last thing I did was go and eat there. Was not disappointed.

If you somehow make it to Maryland, more specifically the Baltimore area, go to the Honey Bee Diner.

I've lost count of how many times me and my friends end up at this diner at 4 in the morning after a long night of bullshitting. Their breakfast food is amazing, and the rest of their stuff is pretty fucking good too. They have seafood, but I never tried it, so idunno when it comes to that. All I know is nothing is better at ending a good party night than a triple stack of french toast, sunny side up eggs, scrapple, bacon, and a bunch of good friends who are equally as hungover as you are. I love this place.
here in WA state we have a really great place called the rock and is great

If you go by Tucson, Arizona
Brushfire BBQ is the best grill for bbq'ed food in Tucson!

If you are looking for less BBQ I would suggest Keva Juice. They have this awesome drink called the "Berry Buzz" or it's sister drink the "Raging Bull" Both drinks are made with redbull, and a shit-ton of Fresh Fruit.

Mother fucking Amen, my friend. Also if your going through Buffalo for the love of god... Stick with Anchor Bar. The other wing shops are imposters, and if you really want a good taste I'm not sure... But I think the Lake Shanty still exists near Buffalo Harbour.
Beth's Cafe in Seattle. The 12 egg omelet is amazing.
