Hanaichimonme, so far, is my favorite ramen house in Los Angeles.

Wurstkuche is a sausage restaurant that is a five minute walk from Hanaichimonme. I got a sausage that had rattle snake and rabbit in it!

Les Sisters is an awesome soul food restaurant that pretty close to where I live. It serves an awesome Crawfish Etouffe.

India Sweets and Spices is an awesome place to get Indian curry. It is located on the west side of The Valley.
Kings Wine Bar in south Minneapolis, Minnesota is great. I personally know the owners and a few of the employees. The staff there is great, and the stories I hear from my friends that work there are hilarious. The food is great and the place has won awards even though it hasn't even been up for two years.
Oh yeah, and there's Trivia on monday - go then, its fun.
Minneapolis has some cool places to visit too. It's a nice place to be when it isn't below zero.
But seriously, has anyone here been to Mystic Pizza in Mystic, Connecticut?
I went to Charles Vergos' Rendezvous in Memphis they're pretty famous,
and Safe House(spy themed bar) in Milwaukee was pretty cool
if you have never tried some, try and find some grits to eat. it's the shit. it will probably be served in a small restaurant down south/southeast during breakfast.
I went to Charles Vergos' Rendezvous in Memphis they're pretty famous,

you should go to HashHouseAGoGo, they have some really amazing food,
website link: www.hashhouseagogo.com/

Space Aliens is a pretty neat bar and grill.. There's a 4 of them in North Dakota and 3 in Minnesota I think. I've been to the one in Bismarck, ND. Great food and a rad atmosphere.

The Outer Space Onion Blossom is the shit.

Copy/Pasted from some restaurant review site:
Dining at most themed restaurants is either about the experience, the atmosphere or the food. But, at Space Aliens, you get great food, an out of this world atmosphere and an experience that you will remember and tell your friends about (much like I’m doing here).
The inside of the restaurant is shaped like the inside of a flying saucer (the atmosphere) with lots of interesting things on he walls and ceiling to catch your eyes. The restaurant also serves special “Alien” drinks for young and old alike in a souvenir glasses. Add that to the game room or the sports bar with several big screens and you have the start of a great experience.
Drive around downtown San Jose, California. Lots'a nice local and family owned restaurants. Some with clever names like "Pizza My Heart" or this cool Frozen Yogurt place...that closed recently :saddowns:
If anyone is ever on Cape Cod, Massachusetts I recommend going to Seafood Sams in Falmouth for the best seafood you will ever have in your life.
http://www.seafoodsams.com/
Hm. North Dakota: Space Aliens
Ohio: Melt. Best damn grilled cheese EVER.
And finally, my hometown of Spokane, WA;
Dicks(haha) awesome burger joint. Good fries, too
Zips, a bit of a franchise, but awesome nevertheless. Get the huckleberry milkshake!
And if you feel like being unique, I recommend Taj Indian cuisine, and the Tikka Masala and Jalfrezi.
I am so hungry now.....
Here in Minnesota, you'd find Mall of America to suit your desires. Apart from being Americas biggest mall, it also has an indoor amusement park and the largest underground aquarium.

Alf's - Ice Cream, Burgers, and Monkey
McMinnville, OR

Sorry for the bad image.
I always went there as a kid. They had the best milkshakes and burgers, or maybe it was because they had a real monkey living in the place.
Here's my food spots, for you guys that live around me.
Find the place called "Rolando's Super Taco" and yes, order the super taco. There is a place just on the main road around there called Rocky's Tacos, a normal mexican restaurant I've spent a lot of time in. If vegetarian is your thing, hit up a place called Green Vegetarian Cuisine.
a bit outside of town,
Sammy's Restaurant in Castroville. Lots of history in that place, great burgers. Awesome place. Dunno if this counts, but around Sammy's, there is a place called Dziuk's Meat Market, that's where I get all the jerky I can ever want, the park nearby is the best place to chill
I've heard of Rolando's Super Taco before, not sure where though. I'll be sure to check it out if I'm in that area during the summer.
In Fort Wayne, IN, there is this place called Power's. They serve mini burgers like white castle, and they are delicious.

Geno's cheese steaks in Philadelphia PA.
The Crystal Palace in Tombstone, AZ. Easily the best burgers I have ever eaten. Additionally, Big Nose Kate's is just down the street, and their food supposedly rivals The Palace's (but I haven't had the pleasure of trying them yet). As long as you're in Tombstone, take a tour of the Birdcage Theater! It's supposed to be one of the most haunted buildings in America. I can't say I saw any ghosties, but it was still a very cool tour! Tons of stories. In fact, all of Tombstone is interesting, and the drive out is absolutely beautiful--winding roads through the desert mountains if you take the scenic route (which you absolutely should).

It doesn't look like much, but this place has been serving burgers since 1879, and they know their shit. Oh, man, do they. It's a forty minute drive each way to Tombstone for me, but I make it once every few weeks just to get one of their burgers.
If you're ever in northern Virginia,
The House of Dynasty
A great Chinese restaurant. The prices are good, the servings are generous, and the service is fairly quick. It's a favorite of my family.
http://www.houseofdynasty.com/
Tim's Rivershore
If you're a fan of seafood, specifically crabs, then this is another local favorite. Most of the time you'll be able to get all-you-can-eat crabs, usually available in three sizes, small, medium, or large crabs. Outdoor seating is on a large deck, connected to some docks, allowing for people to take their boat up to the restaurant instead of driving. The place is less than formal, it is coming for people eating outside to only be in their swimsuits. This may be a positive or negative thing depending on your attitude.
A word of warning, the restaurant is located next to train tracks, this can make parking a nightmare if the place is crowded. Don't believe me? If there is no parking available, they tell you to go park at a Walmart around a mile away where they will have a shuttle bus routinely come and pick people up. This restaurant is very popular in the spring and summer.
Personally I'm not a fan of seafood, but it's another favorite of my family's.

Since you're not going for a couple years(I think I read that) I'll add my contribution late.(Sorry for bump)
If you're in Western New York, you HAVE to go to Ted's for some hot dogs tedsonline.com
All of them in the 'burbs of Buffalo or Rochester
I haven't gone through the whole thread but Phileppes has some damn good french dipped sandwiches. It's in LA, pretty close to the Union Station. I go every year with family for mothers day.

And In-n-Out, just because it is so delicious.
