Love these guys. It made me sick to my stomach first since everything was so... strange. The style, timings, etc. I can't get enough of it now. Except for that "breakdown" in Elastic. It freaked me out at first then had me fumbling with my headphones because I thought they were broken. The ending was also incomprehensibly awesome. They combined all the songs I loved into one mega breakdown which made my head explode.

At first I didn't like them, but now I love them.
Saw them live at metal town :D.

Because you can't tune it down far enough [editline]08:33PM[/editline]
I like Jens' old style of vocals way better than his new robot growl thing. Also, both The Acacia Strain and Set Your Goals have ripped off the Bleed riff.
What?! Somebody ripped off Bleed? THIS IS BLASPHEMY!
I pretty much listen to Meshuggah just for the drumming They put on a pretty intense live show too when I saw them

Ukes being tuned at C come in handy for a few metal songs :)
Any recommended listening?
it's all good, I personally like obzen the most though.
I'm loving Combustion and Bleed. :siren: Working on a cover of the main combustion riff on my uke :siren: Shall post results here when I'm done.
I saw them with Ministry and Hemlock, it was a kick ass show.
Best cover of a Meshuggah song ever!
Meshuggah is Crazy in hebrew
It's actually yiddish. But this band is better than...I don't even know!
I'm gonna buy an album of these guys, they sound pretty fucking good.
Oh shit. Bleed is fucking amazing... Listened to it about 30 times in 2 days!!!!!!!!! SO FUCKING AMAZING.
Oh shit. Bleed is fucking amazing... Listened to it about 30 times in 2 days!!!!!!!!! SO FUCKING AMAZING.
Than go buy obzen because you'll love the whole album if you like bleed.
Started listening to them fucking awesome, really liked Chaosphere and Obzen
I love Meshuggah. But listening to Chaosphere for too long makes my brain melt :P
Wheeeeeew Meshuggah
One of my friends told me (ordered me) to get Catch 33, and I have to say it's the album I like the most by them. Seriously amazing shit right there. He told me to listen really really closely at the end of In Death - Is Death and when Shed came on I jumped in my seat and absolutely loved it.
I heard they're putting out a new album this fall, looking forward to it.. and SaWAH, Catch 33 is my favorite album too
Holy crap this is an old thread. But yes, Meshuggah are fucking awesome.

[editline]1st June 2011[/editline] Listening through Nothing again, been too long since I've listened to em.

[editline]1st June 2011[/editline] Listening through Nothing again, been too long since I've listened to em.
They actually detune a half step down, so the lowest two strings are F and B flat. Also I'm seriously disappointed by the lack of Contradictions Collapse in this thread.
