Battle alarm !
Oh cool
Battle alarm? Doesn't sound so good, sounds like the ruskies are preparing for invasion.
Good to see shameless propaganda is still alive and well.
Oh wow :

Oh man, I don't know how many times I've watched that one.

Wars wouldn't be the same without.
I thought it was pretty nice. The music could have been better, but I thought the clips were pretty cool looking. Standard Army ad, really.
op is not patriotic
I thought the the National Guard was supposed to defend America, not invade Middle Eastern countries.
I guess I was wrong.

because there's no deserts in the usa to defend.

Who ever made this must had been playing call of duty just a little too much.

at this moment
we play tiggy on tree
I thought the national guard weren't THAT shit? Just reserve soldiers with more basic training?
Anyway, all armies and countries try and glorify war, just some are better at it.

I always liked the Royal Marines Advertisements, especially this one since it doesn't just glorify war so much:

Wow, they sure play a lot of dramatic music in the guard.
Is this while they're loading up trucks with a forklift or after?
(Says a guy who does that for a living)
because there's no deserts in the usa to defend.
I saw some tank going through a town that looked like the buildings were made of mud.
It's catering to the people that would join the national guard in the first place.
Most people in the military join it because they're overly patriotic or have nowhere else to go. Usually stupid people.
Does the national guard actually do that thing at about 53 seconds in where they fight each other with pole-thingys? What's that called? Is it just basic CQC training?

pole dancing
Ahaha I nearly choked on my junk food, I would never have expected something this hilarious.
Hahaha I just saw this at A Serious Man the other day.
So. Fucking. Dramatic.
[editline]05:46PM[/editline]
"Wow!! Not since D. W. Griffith's 'The Birth of a Nation' or Leni* Riefenstahl's 'Triumph of the Will' has there been such powerful imagery as this to splash across movie screens!"
Sweet Jesus this is the greatest Youtube comment ever.
Lol that ad was gay, too dramatic and misleading. Joining the army doesn't make you a cool superhero, it's not like a day out playing paintball.

Triumph of the Will was epic, this advertisement pales in comparison.
Then again Triumph was a film, not a short TV ad..

I think you may have missed the part where Birth of the Nation and Triumph of the Will glorified the KKK and the Nazi's respectively. At least, I hope you missed it.
Yeah, went to go see 2012 today and it played again, heard a few people groan/ two "what the fuck"s and three "Jesus Christ"s. This is horrible, they should at least have the decency to play that Citizen Soldier advert because atleast that was bearable with the song.

I loled at:
1)First person to be shown was a black man. Second was a woman. Political correctness in army always makes me laugh. Oh and instructors also remind me of AA3 - There is a black, asian, and Hispanic instructors, there. Again, political correctness is hilarious.
2)Can't see shit half the time/
3)Tanks, planes, guns show off. Most of the technology is 20 years old.
4)Fat guy carrying a "fallen comrade".
5)Wait... how the fuck are firefighters are relevant?
Anyway, hilariously retarded advert. But then again, Russian army advert (why the fuck do we need one, we have draft FFS) had Hell March playing in the background.
Hey but at 2:00 it's pretty epic, with the heat and the rain and the rain dripping of the hat.
I liked that scene
