Why is the batmobile camo color?
Well the Batmobile was like that when he bought it so it's likely a new one, whether it's his or what Postal suggested.
Didn't the Batmobile in the Dark Knight get completely destroyed in a chase with the Joker?
Pittsbughian reporting here, that's really cool man, I live in the Butler area, I wish I would have had time to go and try out.
Fucking hell this thread got spammed with stupid replies. Deleted them so you don't have to scroll past them all ughhh.
Anyways that's awesome OP
So awesome I had to highlight it, I completely missed this yesterday. I was in town for the casting and went for shits and giggles. Turned out I was accepted but I couldn't go because I am across the country and I have a job. :(
If there is shit going on in the Carnegie Science Center I'm gonna flip a bitch because that's is, in essence, my most favorite place to visit.
That's brilliant, congrats! I am jealous! :v:
I get extremely jealous when I heard of people getting to be extras in really big movies. Even though it's a small role, you're still in a movie that will be remembered for years and year, plus being able to point yourself out on screen.
If only they shot big movies in Norway :(
After watching Bronson I am fucking hyped. I hope Bale has stopped talking silly. He's a great actor, but he sucked in TDK.
I was able to be a extra for Quantum of Solance, but they paid real bad and it was freaking shit wheater and everything so I gave no shit.
I have a friend who gets cast as an extra in a few big films, including Captain America, but (bearing in mind I haven't seen it yet) I don't know why they came to England to film it.
I wish they filmed big movies in my small Maryland town
My girlfriend is an extra in the new Footloose movie, you can see her a couple of times in the trailer. It's funny to think Georgia has become a hotspot for filming in recent times. She's also an extra in a new Queen Latifa and Dolly Parton movie also shot here. They paid really good too, she ended up making around $180.00 for one day being there.
The Footloose remake looks exactly like the original except it's shitty rap modern punkass music now.
Here's a good pic of the bat mobile that was posted on reddit

Nice Elbows
I wanna be an extra :(
Why is the batmobile camo color?
Probably a "new" one in the movie since he wrecked the last one
I live in Pittsburgh. I remember almost every one of my friends going into the city when they were starting to cast the extras. I didn't bother, I have too much shit on my plate to begin with.
Nice Elbows
Too pointy, would not "tap" that
Becoming an extra is actually fairly easy, it's just a case of being at the right location at the right time. You can often find where they'll be filming next at various agencies or if you find out yourself, just turn up and ask :v:.
The pay varies heavily though. I got paid £53 for about two hours work whereas another place I was an extra on gave us this terrible wage. Thankfully that was only a day though.
Very nice. Keep us updated, and try to get a picture/video of Christian Bale.
I don't know any one who ever played as an extra, but a kid in my school was featured in an episode of MTV's Made. The camera crew were ass holes...
The thing that can really suck is that even if you are on screen for like 10 seconds or longer, you could be in the background and out of focus so almost all chances of being recognized are lost :frown:.
It all depends on the scene. But none the less, that's really fucking awesome!
As I was reading this thread, I couldn't help but think about people who get to be extras and act like they are playing the lead role or something :v:.
Has an extra ever got an academy award?
If not, there's a first for everything, so be extraordinarily normal!
Did you get to see this guy?
I once pretended to be an extra for an episode of White Collar that was being filmed at the ferry terminal in NYC. I followed all the instructions and was filmed for about an hour until someone involved in production came up to me and asked "Are you an extra?" I said "Yes." He saw through my bullshit and said "No your not, please leave." I grabbed the next boat and later saw that I was not in any scenes when the episode premiered.
Same thing happen to me, but it wasn't a movie, it was a little known TV show called "The Walking Dead" and it was filmed at my old school. Honestly all I wanted to do was get my transcript
Try using that as a pick-up line.
I second the picture of the OP, I'd love to pick you out when I watch the film. Makes it more exciting!
I live just across the highway from the penitentiary that's shown in a short scene in a Capote film.
The film "In Cold Blood" I think.
this one;

That's really cool! Do you live by the So Cal area?
I find it weird, at this very moment, back in IL, Warner Brothers decided that in addition to the first Dark Knight film, they go off and film another Superman movie instead, and Russell Crowe plays Clark's father. Some of these production teams seem to be real easy on cast extras, where as others are real strict. I knew some people that volunteered to be extras for Transformers 3, and were in the film like nothing. They got paid minimum though. In the end, they got zapped by Shockwave, and I actually never saw them again, after I coughed three dollars to see it the first week in theaters. By the time Dark Knight Rises comes out, I bet that will cost more then three bucks single day admission.

OP you are so damn lucky. I am a huge batman fan and I would die to do that
[editline]5th August 2011[/editline]
As in huge I have over $14,000 of batman stuff in storage and planning on putting it in a room and paint the walls to look like Gotham city.
you lucky bastard!!
