Fire temple always frustrated the hell out of me.
Water temple was an orgasm of difficulty and confusion.
Final battle was fucking fun.

Majora's Mask was incredible, and the dungeons were more fun. But Ocarina Of Time had a better sense of adventure.
[editline]07:54PM[/editline]
Also Redeads scared the shit out of me.
I was like 9 or 10 man
so
Oh God, I recall reaching the top of the Fire Temple then a fucking bat bit my ass and I went screaming down into the fire below and had to climb it all again.
Fucking Wallmasters are scary. Especially the sound they make when they're falling.
Song of Healing when it was played on the piano brought tears to my eyes.
Majora was alot more fun in my opinion.
Though OoT is amazing, Majora just had so much variety.
Damn you Water Temple! :argh:
I fucking loved the battle with Dark Link so much. That battle alone made the Water Temple worth it.
Majora's Mask was just as good. It gave the Zelda series a really well-done dark tone, and you still Hero of Time'd evil monsters back to Hell.
In OoT, you were saving people in the nick of time and getting holy weapons, whereas in MM you were putting people out of their misery, dealing with impeding doom, and using slightly dark weapons to fight an even darker evil.
Both games reflect opposite ends of a spectrum, and both are as good as each other because of it.
At least, that's how I feel. I can't wait for the new Zelda.
i died on the final boss when i was like 11 or something. Haven't tried beating him again since
still got the game too
I do too, usually. But the Majora's Mask timer system is more forgiving and easy to manipulate than that of most games, yet its the one I hear the most complaints about.
I can't think of many games with a easier timer than Majora's Mask
<3 this game mann.
Ocarina of Time was epic, no doubt... but that water temple was fucking annoying.
I can't think of many games with a easier timer than Majora's Mask
All those games with the timer set to infinite time
Definitely my favourite game. It's the first game that I can vividly remember playing, back when I used to rent it as a kid.
Majora's Mask was better.

Pfft, I can beat Master Quest's water temple with my eyes closed
I think the Water Temple was the sole dungeon that actually became easier in Master Quest...

Rated dumb.
You can't really say other LoZ games were better because they all describe the same adventure differently.
Excuse me?
I think the Water Temple was the sole dungeon that actually became easier in Master Quest...
Yeah, that was the joke. :v:
I dont get why so many people complain about the water temple, the hardest temple is the shadow temple.
I played this game when i was like 7. Beat it after a couple of weeks.
Beating the crap out of the chickens untill heaps fly at you was horrible though... Made me scared of chickens for a while.
Both OoT and MM were some of the best games on the N64, and that's quite an achievement.

Oh and wrong section.
I am so bad at the Zelda series, but this was definitely the best one.
I remember when I was like, 6, I would just ride Epona around hyrule and make up stories in my head as to what I was doing. Holy shit the memories.
I prefered Majoras Mask because of the atmosphere. The whole Kafei or whatever his name was story was so good, and I loved that milk bar and hotel in clocktown, the ranch (damn that pikachu mask was useful) and all of the different areas and their feels.
When I got the zora mask I literally stayed in the zora city swimming in that pond in the middle doing jumps out of the water for like half an hour, it was so fun.
I remember Majoras Mask much more fondly than OOT (fucking hands in every bloody dungeon picking you up and taking you back to the beginning, much less frequent in MM)
I prefered Majoras Mask because of the atmosphere.
This is why I also felt that Majora's Mask was a better game because it had more personality.

Same here. :buddy:
Edit:
Also Ikana Castle was an amazing part of the game when you fight the king.
I never played it, and I'm afraid if I play it now it will feel outdated.
I did play Majora's Mask which I loved, but I still can't believe I missed out on this game.
All who say Ocarina of Time beats Majora's Mask will be crushed by the OH MY GOD THE MOON IT'S MASSIVE AARRGGHHH

I really need to play through this game again and beat it, for once.
This was and still is my favourite game i've ever played in my life, I miss it :(
You don't get the awesome music and feeling this game had from newer games.
I remember someone played it emulated and streamed it last year, maybe someone could do that again? It was awesome to watch.
This is my favourite Zelda game. I really like the music from the Zelda series. It's magical.
