They didn't specify. I think they made use of the touch screen to equipped stuff though.

That wasn't really what I wanted to know. What I want to know is if they made extreme design changes to the ocarina.

Oh that I have no clue, I wouldn't think so though because the whole point of porting the game is keeping it classic.

Am I the only one that didn't think the water temple was that hard?
Ocarina of Time is the one game that I would play over and over and over again when I was young. I respected it so much and it was routine to just play through it. I have had a harder time replaying it since then just because the nature of how games age but if theres any game I have ultimate nostalgia for it's this one.
I remember being at the Goron place in Ocarina of Time before leaving for my first day of kindergarten. I beat that damn game before I could even read. In my eyes, that and Majora's Mask are the best games of all time, and RPGs today would be completely different if it weren't for those two Zelda games. I still prefer Majora's Mask over Ocarina of Time, though. I had more fun with that one.
Why yes I do.
May I jam in this thread?

Wrong section. This belongs in General Games Discussion.
Played both OOT and MM when I was younger, I much preferred OOT. I really just think it was the openess of the world, I also preferred the story.
OOT is my favorite game. I am not going to say it is the best because that is up to your own personal preference, I also do love MM.
Great but not the best game ever, it did reach perfection with all its style though and that's why people still consider it the best Zelda game.
Majora's Mask was better.
I love it, I thought it was very fun.
Also HL2 or GTFO.

But it was; it might have been shorter and sometimes the time system was annoying but overall I think MM is the better game.
Ugh I forgot how to get the lens of truth.... up to the shadow temple.
It was a very fun game. Though I didn't appreciate it when I first got it in early 1999- was 9 years old at the time. I dropped it for two months and then picked it up again. I really enjoyed it then for some reason, and I still remember it with good memories.
Water temple gave the most trouble for me when I first played it. I was annoyed by the fishing element too.
Also, this may sound retarded, but I was honestly at a loss what to do when I got locked in the Ranch after winning the horse race and getting Epona. It never crossed my mind that I had to run Epona to the wall and it would jump over it. I was stuck there a few hours :downs:
Funny enough that this thread pops up when I've started playing OoT a week ago, I never got to finish it as a kid :frown:

It may be one of the best songs from a video game ever. EVER.
When I got close to beating the game I used to go to the Gerudo Valley JUST to hear this song.

Majora's Mask was better. Fuckin' stone tower temple.

I never could find an MM cartridge, so I like OoT more.
I feel like such a loser for not having played any Zelda game, I've gotta get to one at some point.
My favorite 3D Zelda, although ALttP is my favorite of the series. Just saw (yesterday) that guy streaming a playthrough and... the nostalgia...

You could probably get an OoT cartridge on eBay if you're lucky.
or a garage sale :ssh:

One of my favorite songs from OoT, along with Windmill Hut and Lost Woods.

Really, the "MM is so much betr" shit should stop, I'm sure that MM is a great game as well as OoT.
I personally favor OoT, but if I had the chance to scoop up an MM catridge to play it, I wouldn't hesitate.
