Teach us to lucid dream with a spice now
Teach us to lucid dream with a spice now
really all you have to do is realize you're dreaming when you're dreaming
hahaha, i was wondering what the hell melanin would do
Yeah I thought I had it wrong but I couldn't remember the right chemical.
really all you have to do is realize you're dreaming when you're dreaming
Lucid dreams are the shit man. Sometimes I think I'm dreaming that I'm not dreaming and so I don't realize that I'm dreaming when I am dreaming. My dreaming is so real that sometimes my dream's have dreams while I'm dreaming. Making it difficult to know when I'm dreaming while I'm dreaming and also while I'm just dreaming.

There are many methods to realizing you're in a dream, but some are quite tedious and can take a while. The first one you can do, is often throughout a day, count how many fingers you have on your hand. If you do this enough, and repetitively enough, eventually your brain should implant it into a dream, and typically the number of fingers you have will be different from real life, and you will realize you're in a dream. The second you can do, which is a little easier and less tedious, is to put a good, high visibility digital clock in your room. Look at it, look away, then look at it before you go to bed every night. You might not have to do this much, or even do it at all, but if you look at a digital clock/anything with text in a dream, the first time you look at it it should be normal, but the second time you look it usually have misplaced letters, changed words, random numbers/letters or just fucked up numbers and letters. The third is to simply look at a mirror while in you're dream, mirrors in dreams will tend to be foggy, distorted, or in some cases just creepy. Yeah.
False awakenings are fun aren't they?
God the memories when I used to dream
I've only had one lucid dream... :sigh: Since it was my first, I didn't know what to do and it didn't last very long. It was basically just me flying through my school breaking everything and making a mess in the halls. It was disappointing. I'm going to start a goddamn dream journal tomorrow morning. Also I've been counting fingers for about a week now, hoping it helps. I don't want to try to look in a mirror.
Looking in a mirror (your image will most often appear blurry in a dream). But be careful because your image in a mirror can appear extremely distorted and disturbing, and may lead to a nightmare instead of the happy lucid dream you were planning to have.
lol
Okey, well I'm going to go get some cinnamon, count my fingers, then go to bed.
God the memories when I used to dream
what happened to you anyway, were you in nam and you lost your ability to dream? (and feel compassion)
So I was eating cinnamon out of the bottle and my sister walks and tells me I'm wasting it. Off to a bad start.
your avatar made the post all the better
what happened to you anyway, were you in nam and you lost your ability to dream? (and feel compassion)
I really don't gve a fuck about it
I really don't gve a fuck about it
about compassion, or dreaming? because i'd imagine something bad had to have happened for that to be the truth

His builder ran off to Peru, where he used as much tech stolen from the Nazis as he could get shipped to construct a small bunker high in the Andes mountains and continue his work for the greater good of humanity rather than the Nazi regime. Tragically, his builder died of a cancer (Ostensibly related to some of his work with the Nazi controlled science programs) after completion of the robot but before figuring out where the fuck he was going with this idea. Now, with nobody to keep him in repair, his analog brain is beginning to show signs of wear and tear, especially the fine mechanisms required for him to feel simulated emotion. Alternatively it doesn't make sense to him that chugging cinnamon will help him remember dreams.

I've also read that putting an 'A for Awake' on your hand and checking it often, such as when you count your fingers, while help you realize you're awake in your dreams. So now I have an A on my hand.

I didn't catch on how fucking weird that was until I woke up, though. :saddowns:
