Well yeah, but that's not really all that amazing either. It's pretty much building the hand guard overtop of the suppressor, and creating expansion chambers inside of the suppressor. I mean, I couldn't do it, but it's not all that complicated.
Of course, in Sons of Guns, there's the mandatory steps of attaching rails everywhere and sights from other (western) firearms and [I]then[/I] calling it a day.

Not the same cartridge though, that fires the subsonic 9x39's, so it's a lot easier to suppress, since the round doesn't break the sound barrier on leaving the muzzle.

when means that the silencer is the entire barrel, not just at the end of the barrel which sumpresses it even more rather than have a really long silencer at the end.
Only Mall ninjas will get anal if you use silencer instead of suppressor.
Hiram Maxim, who invented and sold the first commercials models, referred to them as silencers, as such, I refer to them as silencers.

That comparison makes absolutely no sense at all. A silencer isn't a completely different object from a suppressor, its just a different name which its called by.
