You've got LibreOffice which is essentially the same thing, so it still lives on even though Sun Microsystems still make OpenOffice.

I've seen the images, looks the same as Open Office. But the GUI is more like Office 2007, with some 2003 blended in.

Two: It's called HyperText/Autoformatting. It will fix common spelling mistakes and things. Just ignore it. It can be disabled.
Does it only appear when you write a text where you trash-talk someone's momma?
