Thanks to the help of the Questions thread, I've found other gear to go with. Turns out I will be attending the Op next month with you guys.
I will try my hardest to be in attendance. Maybe I'll bring my XM so you guys can fondle it.
This sounds awesome, and I'd love to go, but it's 11 hours away and right on a busy weekend.
Well my Combat Machine arrived today, and I'll be ordering the googles, the vest, a sidearm and an extra mag for the sidearm tomorrow. Now to figure out the total prices while at the field. What details can you guys give about when the op gets put on hold for dinner? Do we have to leave the field to get our food, or do they serve us? If they serve us, about how much does it cost?

So really you have $25 for the op, plus $5-15 for lunch and/or dinner. Pretty cheap.
so should $50 each be good for food for me and wulf? Since we're gonna be having to food thursday-sunday.
I'd probably try to budget it out a bit more, since you're gonna be eating on the road which gets expensive. Assuming like $10 per fast food meal (assuming that's what we're gonna be stuck with the most) you're only getting like one meal a day which is no good.

I'll bring more anyways, and be sure wulf saw this.
Lets just go to an olive garden or something in all of our gear.
Lets just go to an olive garden or something in all of our gear.
that's tooltastic. I recommend not doing this.
Lets just go to an olive garden or something in all of our gear.
excuse me, I think you meant to say "lets go to burger king"
Saw a bunch of paintballers at Denny's in full gear at like 2 in the morning Loaded LBE's and everything, Made me a bit mad
I live to the south east of Penn. Nice to see that I'm not the only one on Facepunch from NY. A friend of mine goes there often. I haven't personally gone yet but I'll have to go some time.
I may have to pull out, i'm scheduled for work that saturday after trying to request the weekend off, but who knows it might change.
going to strangle you a lot
I'm coming from Boston straight through the Albany area if that helps :V
If Deathmog can't sort his end out, or Codemoney can't pick me up, I'll definitely hit you up since I just figured it and you picking me up only adds like 7 minutes to your travel time since you have to pass right past my town. You literally hop of I90, get onto the main road in my town, go about 1/4 mile, into my neighborhood, pick me up, then get back on the main road, go another 1/4 mile, and you're back on 90.
The Op is near completion. The Operation is on the 19th... there is no changing (Sorry Jufe) The afternoon portion will AEG's following normal BOA guide lines and the night portion will be springers and Pistols. MP7's and 9's can be used but the low cap 20 rnd mag is required... no 40 rnd mags. There will be no science team, mechanic team, no one is allowed to touch my generator. Everyone will be soldiers. The day portion is force on force, objective based, and will not... I say again.. NOT be easy. The night portion everyone will work together as one unit.
In lieu of science team, the name of the game is HEAVY ORDNANCE. Bring the big stuff, gents.
We need to decide if we are going GREEN or TAN. Rate agree for GREEN. Rate disagree for TAN.
In lieu of science team, the name of the game is HEAVY ORDINANCE. Bring the big stuff, gents.
All I have to do is just not wear any pants ;)
In lieu of science team, the name of the game is HEAVY ORDINANCE. Bring the big stuff, gents.
So we are def green team? [editline]22nd September 2013[/editline] shit ninjad
Green would be optimal if you want to run with me/catbarf.
If it comes down to it, we could split into Green and Tan contingents and shoot each other during the day. Everyone is allied for the night portion so we'll all be on the same side in the end anyways.
So catbarf, we should arrive in DC thursday night, yes?
is there camo restrictions for green or tan or is arm band?
