hahaha I see what you did there
24
24 is still good, what are you talking about :O
it is somewhat repetitive with the whole "omg nuclear material, omg russians, omg jack go in and take them down", but still a good show
Heroes: I only stopped watching last season, I was just hoping that one of the season would be as good as the first.
Family Guy: Used to be funny but now it just tries to be offensive
family guy started slow, got fantastic, hit a slump, and is now great again. idk what youre talking about bro

Well I haven`t watched it recently but if what you say is true I`ll watch an episode.
Death Note gets a lot worse after [sp]L dies[/sp].
Dear god this.
Star Wars.
Death Note gets a lot worse after [sp]L dies[/sp].
uh this thread is about things that were good at one point then got bad.
I love Family Guy. used to have substance. but now I have accepted it for what it is. 11 Minutes of peter running aroung acting retarded. And I laugh at that.
heroes had a definite rough spot. but the latest season is one of the best yet.
House: "OMG house someone hurt fix him" "ok but I wanna do it my way" "no" *does it his way* "house dont do that" "no" *takes vicodin* "house you're in trouble" "no" repeat.
24: "OMG terrorist, jack stop them" *jack yells* "DAMMIT" *yells some more* *kills terrorist* repeat.
Family Guy (though it wasn't terribly good to start with)
The Simpsons (originally one of the best shows on TV, now is shit)
Moonlighting got pretty terrible when the character Sam was introduced
Family guy after season 3 everything else before that was gold.
Ok. I normally like Family Guy. But Sunday's episode if Family Guy and American Dad were just horrible :geno:
Shrek
Heroes
The first season was cool but after that it just became awful.
Seriously it's been 4 seasons now and i still have no clue what this show is actually about.
[sp] Sylar dies, Sylas then lives, then it's the future, then it's the present, then Nathan dies and is resurrected with Sylar's body[/sp]
It's like the writers doesn't have anything solid to go on.
Pirates of the Carribean: first one was pretty damn funny but a good piratey film in it's own right, especially as movies based on theme park rides go. 2 and 3 were a bit shit.
Jericho, because of the huge corporation shit and the fact that they left so many questions unanswered, such as the Chinese airdrop
Well that wasn't really the writers fault, the show got cancelled even though it was great.
really though, the show got terrible when they replaced the voices for chester and AJ
Actually I just remembered that that's probably what got me to stop watching the show.
Voice actors matter. They could have at least tried to get actors who can pull off a similar voice, like they did with Hey Arnold.
Speaking of Hey Arnold, that's a show that got better and better and better and then BOOM! canceled.
Most of these series I've seen are taking entire damn pages out of the Unholy Textbook of Cliches.
I mean come on they all involve one of the following, an Evil Republican Senator, Evil Cooperation, sometimes BOTH, involved some kind of naughty conspiracy.
Seriously?!
Give me a fucking break. 24 especially made me rage so hard at the end of the last season. Total fucking let down.
[editline]01:40PM[/editline]
I gave up on Lost after season 2.
As far as films go, Terminator and Alien.
Though I thought Terminator Salvation was pretty good. How it ended made me go "Blah"
Heroes - First Season badass, Dropped in the middle, picked up at Season 4 and now Season 5 looks promising.
[editline]08:05PM[/editline]
Lost - I stopped paying attention when Sky stole it from us Brits that don't have Sky.
^Gonna go with this^
The newer ones are good for a chuckle here and there, but I remember watching the older ones and laughing pretty hard.
Stargate
I'm a big fan of the original show, and will watch the spinoff if it's on (Stargate: Atlantis). The latest project just seems like they're beating a dead horse. "Hey, let's take the Lost plot and add a good 'ol Stargate twist to it!"
Cartoons in General
Maybe I'm nostalgic, but the cartoons today suck ass. Most of it's Anime anyways, which I've always thought of as weird (Liked the original Pokemon though).
YOu know, Imma have to agree with this.
THE SIMPSONS.
My god, have you watched the latest episodes? Fucking awful.
Pre season 7ish was the fucking best. I would kill to see more episodes like them.
I did laugh a lot for the first time this season at the latest episode with the Olympics and curling.
lost
I consider people who think lost turned out to be a terrible show are too slow to comprehend the amazingness of it. It is so well conected and thought out, has awesome acting, an amazing storyline, and insane twists that it is easily one of, if not the best, shows ever made. It is easily up there in greatness with BSG.
OH, the Jurassic Park films, first two were great, the third one was :gonk:
I thought the Knight Rider new series was a bit...cheesy
Although i did just watch it for the car :v:
Nobody has mentioned it but - dear god Smallville.
Used to be good now it's all about how many shitty one liners and cameos can you fit per episode.
WWE shows. Used to be awesome during the Attitude Era and a few years afterwards, but nowadays? Ugh.
Now waiting for dumb ratings due to watching "fake wrestling", even though I am fully capable of enjoying both show wrestling and real martial arts.

Smallville is still on? Hole-ee sheet!
Spongebob Squarepants
I mean they should have stopped at season 3 but some nick idiots petition for it to keep on going and see what happened. The jokes have run dry.
House. The first seasons were ingenious. House said what everyone wants to say but they can't, he told people how dumb and pretentious they are, and he wasn't being polite about it, while he also solved medical mysteries like crimes. I simultaneously laughed and realized that every one of us is just as dumb as those unfortunate enough to be told the truth by House.
Then the show went on, and House just transformed into a plain asshole, instead of the crude soothsayer he used to be.
Jericho. The first season was great, but they ran out of ideas and decided to use the generic "Civil War Redux" shit and focused more on some lame conspiracy and less on the character development that made me love the show and its characters.
Sorry for the bump. I gotta correct you there. They didn't run out of ideas, CBS gave them a hard time during production. The first season was cancelled and only after a large outcry from it's fan base did they get the go ahead for a second season. They were underfunded and lacked the tools they needed in every way you could imagine, from costumes to film crews. They were cancelled AGAIN after only seven episodes.
Fortunately they're working on a full-length movie to do it proper justice.
