"New" Assassin's Creed
"New to our series is the ability to use the environment to take down targets" *shoots a bundle of barrels hanging precariously over an idle enemy* This is fucking pathetic. Apart from the slightly improved graphics it's like watching a demo from 2007. They need to take a break with this series.
London looks nice but everything else is just the same old shit just with different "paint". And the combat animations.
One of the stealth kills looked like it was a slightly edited animation from SC blacklist.

the part where they go out the doors at the beginning looked pretty good, thought to myself "hey I guess it could be pretty fun to scale those buildings and run around on the rooftops and stuff" and then they immediately show off carriages in the "packed streets" featuring literally three other carriages, and then when they showed free running footage they fucked it all up with the rope launcher. why have fun climbing buildings if you can just press a button to skip it completely? fuck off. it's so disappointing literally all they've done is go "hey people have been wanting an assassin's creed game set in victorian england for ages. let's do that." no other reason. bleh
This is fucking awful oh my god Like not even judging by the unfinished-ness of the game, I'm talking about the features they're trying to pass off as new and exciting What is the point of this game? The setting isnt different enough to be interesting. The gameplay looks exactly the same as Unity. It's being revealed so soon that no one is asking for a new AC game in the first place This series is a joke now
Can I say one thing I hate about preview trailers like this is when whoever is narrating does it like they're seeing this for the first time or that they're actually in the world. The insincerity and miserable acting fills me with rage.
[t]http://i.imgur.com/zIucR0q.png[/t]
It could be pre pre-alpha footage, I still wouldn't be holding my breath for AC.
I'll get it for the top hat alone.
The trailer has no wow factor. Shit I'm gonna go watch the Brotherhood trailer now, the best one they've done. It looks like... nothing new. Oh man I can't wait to see them push this for the earliest release, complimented with bugs on the house!
Only thing I really liked about this was that ending gang fight, made me think of Gangs of New York. But other than that this looks kinda bland, I mean as much as a disaster AC UNITY was, the game itself was pretty great, much content to go through and the combat was really tweaked well, with lots of places to parkour about. This place though, the roads, are all so spacious, like I don't even think you can parkour/jump from rooftop to rooftop which forces you to use those ropes which is kinda lame.
I like the whole street thug theme they're going for, but I'm not going to hold my breath for this one. At least until it's confirmed broken at launch.
They had carriage ramming in assassins creed revelations.
This place though, the roads, are all so spacious, like I don't even think you can parkour/jump from rooftop to rooftop which forces you to use those ropes which is kinda lame.
I feel like it might've been cool if the rope was some sort of tool that let you swing from one side to the next with some sort of physics-based mechanics, but it's just like a zipline which is really boring. Those types of ropes/hooks have been around since Quake
I'm going to buy this, only if you can trip horses and people with that zip-line thing. If it's not implemented then i'll pass.
Thought this was gonna be a parody
Hahaha wow, they stole everything they have from Batman games :v:
Oh god the horses, knocking over light poles and shit, like tanks.
If ubisoft put as much effort into the game as they do with the settings then maybe itll be a much better game.
and people are going to buy this no matter how much of a bugged piece of turd it is just like the last games, because people don't learn
I lost my shit at the carriage chase.
I really like the setting and the quick animations. Though it's a shame they will probably launch the pre-alpha with tacked on micro-transactions as the finished game.
I like the gang idea, but that's about it. If the Templars are a global conspiracy, why are they apparently only funding gangs headed by Bloody Nora and Seeya Later Alligator?
trailers are supposed to be impressive and give you an idea of what is new all of that was the same old crap and not impressive at all
Kinda underwhelming
I don't think this is as terrible as everyone's making out because it's AssCreed. It's just nothing impressive and lacks a lot of polish. Then again, even the best games in the series have been blatantly unpolished.
honestly i was expecting way worse with how you guys were reacting to it. i think the biggest crime was that it felt like I was looking at unity. Ac1 through 4 had locations that looked unique and different from one another but this one and unity look to samemy.
too many fucking southerners
What the fuck was up with the PC getting super jerky when swung at with the knife at 5:53?
