I did like the addition of the grappling hook thing. I always thought a grappling hook would be a perfect tool for Assassins considering they're always jumping off rooftops.
That carriage chase part near the end is one of the best things I've ever seen in my life. The developers saw that and said, "Yeah. That looks good, show everyone that." Unbelievable.
That looks bad. Like, I don't have incredibly high standards for games - but that just looks so lazy and awful, and boring.
So fucking boring and lifeless. I really wish Ubisoft took actual time to develop a good AC game in 2-3 years instead of 1.
Am I seeing this right? Is marking the enemies, one of the main staples in Assassin's Creed, reduced to a detective-mode button that just reveals shit automatically? What the fuck? Where's the challenge anymore?

I see some teleporting NPCs.

They're gonna keep going forward in time periods until we reach the 2000's, where they'll then merge all of the franchises and it'll be Watch's Cry: The Creed's Cell
There goes all hopes of Watch_Shit 2 being any better than the first trainwreck.
They've implemented Drivable Carriages? Well we know the next step then Cars Maybe the game might actually be interesting if it were set in WW2 or pre WW1 with the Black Hand. (Too bad it'll be fighting Templars through thinly veiled gaps in history)
I never knew that the city of London was the economic and financial heart of London in the nineteenth century.
There goes all hopes of Watch_Shit 2 being any better than the first trainwreck.
implying there were hopes to begin with
I never knew that the city of London was the economic and financial heart of London in the nineteenth century.
Bet you also didn't know that we used the magic apples to create gunpowder and firearms. Also Jesus was just some guy who stole a magic robe, Bush was a Templar pawn and Adam Sandler was an Assassin
AC games are just the same rehashed gameplay but with a different city and timeline now.

To be honest, I didn't say it would ever look good, but saying it looks like crap right now is a bit unfair. v:v:v
Hasn't it been like that since Black Flag though?
I played Rogue, and you still have to manually spot all enemies.
I'll just wait for the next middle earth game, Shadow of Mordor was way better at being AC than AC has ever been
Goddamn I'd love a victorian like game but this is just bad, so bad. I'm glad I stopped buying these games after the third installment.
To be honest, nothing new at all. I really love the setting though, if they make the game not run like shit on PCs I might buy it.
It's defintely a sign that most of the people rated this gameplay preview as . We just can't hold on anymore to Ubisofts shit and the only way to bear this repetitive nonsense is apparently humour. Honestly, there was NOTHING really innovative shown. It's just embarassing and painful to watch a once awesome and mighty series cripple under its' own lack of innovation and the ignorance of the publisher to actually revolutionize the series. Hey dipshits, it's 2015: Why not start working on the fucking awful AI? They're dumber than a bag of stones. Bullshit like this breaks the immersion every ... fucking ... time.
ill just play thief on my xbox, thanks.
That big Pre Alpha Footage text is an insult to everyone's intelligence.
That big Pre Alpha Footage text is an insult to everyone's intelligence.
Really, because anyone who even knows what a Beta looks like knows that its full of shit. And anyone who knows what an Alpha or worse yet a Pre-Alpha looks like is just amazed and the utter bullshit.
That big Pre Alpha Footage text is an insult to everyone's intelligence.
Knowing Ubisoft "Pre Alpha Footage" means that the game will look worse when released.
why are the police constables' tunics light blue???
that barrel drop at 4:20 looks terrible lmao
just play Dishonored
Pre-alpha would mean you don't have a functioning prototype yet, lmao.
What the fuck, Rogue was awesome, and now it turns to garbage again?
