I hate it when people say there's something 'wrong' with being fat. It's usually just a lifestyle choice. If it's how they want to live, then let them be.
Are they kept strapped to a bed? No. They have a choice. I live in an American society and my parents were obese. I am not obese because I choose to be active.
Maori's beat me up. Always.
They do where I live :(
When all you fat people are lying in your deathbed 50 years early and I'm going to be paying for them to try to keep you who can't even do anything alive, with my taxes, I will be mad.
I don't let them in my house. Not because I hate them, but because they ruin my clean bathroom.
My bathroom is fucking disgusting and has nothing to do with fat people.
My bathroom is fucking disgusting and has nothing to do with fat people.
That's your own damn fault. I keep mine nice and clean then all of a sudden there's a pile of shit stuck to the inside of the bowl and toilet paper everywhere.
Fat people are people too! :frown:
Fat people are people too! :frown:
Only when they are less than 224lbs!
Okay, so here's how I see it. 1. It's a life style choice: Yeah so is being religious or driving your car around blasting shitty rap, just because you choose something doesn't make you free from criticisms. Why the fuck would you choose to be fat? 2. "They're still people and regardless of their choices, you have to respect them as human beings," Yeah okay, but they are still ugly for no good reason, what's your point? [editline]04:59AM[/editline]
Fat people are people too! :frown:
Fat people are two people.
I'd like to get this out of the way and say that hating fat people is the same thing as race, sex, and class hatred.
What? You're born black. You're born a woman. In many cultures you're often born into your class. You make a conscious decision that you're OK with being obese, because you continue to consume huge amounts of unhealthy foods.
Hating fat people isn't the same as being a racist. It's more akin to being against someone because of their religion.
fat people are mostly nice and good people because we cannot do otherwise. i am kinda fat. fortunately, i'm not american fat, so i don't look like a huge ball of flesh with a mcdonalds burger in my hands. i'm greek fat, which means i have a beer belly :P i feel that i have to be nice to other people because of my weight. if a fat person doesn't have a good personality, then she/he has nothing good left. the last resort for a fat person to be liked by others is to be nice. imagine a fat person who is also a dickhole. everybody will hate that dude. but, a thin person who's a dickhole? many people will love them, even worship them, just because they have a nice body. i'm already on diet and excersising and, if i'm right about this, then once i lose weight people will look at me differently, even if i piss them off. it will be a great experiment lol :D
Hating fat people isn't the same as being a racist. It's more akin to being against someone because of their religion.
This. I, personally, don't hate obese people, but when I see some person 3 times the weight they should be, they almost instantly gain my disrespect for their chosen lifestyle. Honestly, is it really that hard to not be a bloated man-ball? I can understand if somebody is a little bit flabby, it can be hard to keep your weight perfect.. But for somebody to be obese, frankly, it's disgusting. How can somebody do that to their body? You'd think after they start getting considerably fat, they'd slow down on the shitty foods, but that's not the case. They eat until they become physically handcapped; what the fuck is wrong with them? Just in case you didn't actually read my post, I'm not talking about people who are slightly overweight, I'm talking about people who are severely overweight.
I'm fat myself, I know this fully well and I know it's because I've had a low image of myself after being bullied for years I just stopped caring about being sociable and just got happy playing games.
This. I, personally, don't hate obese people, but when I see some person 3 times the weight they should be, they almost instantly gain my disrespect for their chosen lifestyle.
That's kind of counter to the point I was trying to make, so I don't know why you agreed with me. Wait until you see what the person is like. If someone is 3 times the weight they should be but incredibly polite and productive, there's no reason to automatically disrespect them. If they're expecting the world to completely accommodate them or they deny being fat or something you can disrespect them at that point, because I would as well. [editline]05:29AM[/editline]
Also, do you have any idea how much is it frustrating when you exercise for a couple of months straight and see no result?
Yeah, this. Diets, exercise plans, whatever. I've never been able to get below 205 or so. A dietitian pretty much blatantly told me to deal with it, because if what I was doing wasn't causing me to lose weight nothing would.
ITT: Fat people whinging about fat people

I hate people who go, "I'm fat, so what? Fuck it!"
I hate people who go, "I'm fat, so what? Fuck it!"
Will you still love me for my Britishness? :saddowns:
ITT: Hamsterjuice makes it apparent that he did not read the thread
No I'm pretty sure I did
You really shouldn't question it so much unless you experienced this yourself. ie, you're severely obese. you have NO idea what incredible amount of willpower do you need to get off your fat ass and exercise. plus, you can't just 'stop eating fast food/shitty food.' It doesn't work like that, every body reacts differently to food and exercise. you can keep eating unhealthy food but you wont gain any weight. you can exercise and not lose any weight. and vice versa. Also, do you have any idea how much is it frustrating when you exercise for a couple of months straight and see no result? it can be very depressing, thus resulting in the obese person eating even more unhealthy food. so this shit is really complicated. Also, I've never been obese, I just saw how the whole thing happen to my friend, and how he became from a muscly slim boy to a mortally obese 22 year old man.
Is your friend one of those guys who goes and pushes weights and runs, hops on a scale and goes "Oh drat, I didn't lose any weight :downs:"?? Largely, your post was a load of crap. If you don't eat (much) and you exercise, you will lose weight. Your friend was doing something wrong. You shouldn't have to go on a diet in the first place. If you have healthy eating habits and you exercise enough in the first place, you won't put on that weight. [editline]11:15AM[/editline]
That's kind of counter to the point I was trying to make, so I don't know why you agreed with me.
I agreed with the analogy that it's more like a religion, than a race, sex, or class. I disrespect them because they evidently lack the self control and responsibility to keep an acceptable weight. In the same way that you'd disrespect somebody who abuses a drug or alcohol. If they are making an honest and dedicated effort to lose weight, then I could respect them for that, but if they are obese, and are not making any attempt to correct it (continuing to overeat and not exercise), then I don't see a reason why I should have any respect for them. I'm not saying I can't like somebody who is fat, I'm saying that I'll just never have much respect for them as a person with a strong character.
Then you'll love me! :buddy: [editline]9:01[/editline] FML I am 220 pounds, and 15 years old :(
There is always hope brother. I pulled myself out of the same pit. [editline]08:28AM[/editline]
And I'll say it again, you need to have an INCREDIBLE amount of fucking willpower to exercise, after that much time of doing nothing but sitting on your couch and eating. I want you to be mortally obese one day and experience what my friend had to go through, and then talk shit how much it's "not a problem" to get off your ass and exercise. The whole thing is a lot more complicated than "hur just dont eat much and exercise and youll lose weight in no time!!1"
As someone who has lost considerable weight, the case IS 99% of the time eat less, exercise more. You can read my thread about my weight loss story, I didn't sit around feeling sorry for myself. I hated myself and fought to change my lifestyle to a healthier one because I was killing myself. You don't REALLY want to lose weight if you can't stop snacking and over eating and start putting time into the health of the only body you'll ever have. Being fat is not something that is difficult to change because it is an addiction, your body has NO actual addiction to food (Unlike alcohol or tobacco) I'm willing to offer the simple advice I can for people, but to get help from others you must first help yourself. Nothing in this world is free, you have to go out and take it for yourself because no one else is going to go and get it for you.
Stupid fat people playing the victim
Fat people are always funny and happy.
Feeders.
If they are a bit chunky, I'm fine with them. If they're a ton, then I'm sorry but I can't stand it. I just think it's gross. Same with anorexic people.
You're only fat if you want to, and fat people suck, so you want to suck, hence you are gay. Conclusion, fat people are homosexual.
I have some fat friends. I can't fault their personalities.
