I think for your own sake you should take 5 and walk away from this thread, the inanity of your statements is increasing rapidly and is only going to get worse. Go get a soda or something and come back with a clear mind.
I'm not telling you to "leave", but just suggesting that a break from this thread in particular would help you out.
It's true depending on where you live, for example in Šoštanj where my grandmother lived there are some squatters who always harass people there but in Murska Sobota where my other grandparents (mothers side) had a house, I had a childhood friend who was a gypsy and we pretty much hanged out all the time, that is until she was taken away by social security because she was an alcoholic at 7 years of age and her parents didn't let her go to school, I haven't heard of her since, but you get the point.

Also I hate the term African American.
My French teacher is black, straight from Burkina-Faso, moved here like 4 years ago.
He is not an American citizen. He would just be african, but that's not even a race.
He's black. I don't see what's so bad about people being black, why do we need to make up another supposedly "less offensive" term for it?
Not every black person is African-American, and that's not even really a race.
Also when people call me a Jew (which is what I am), and then say "OH I'M SORRY I JUST USED AN OFFENSIVE TERM"
No you didn't, we are called Jews, don't call us "Hebrews" or "Israelis" (I'm not even remotely from Israel) or "Person of the Jewish descent". I don't call you a "Person of the christian descent".
The correct word is Jew.
Yesterday I heard someone use "African American".
I live in Australia...
Stopper's partly right though, gypsies are a rather large problem in some country's/area's. They take advantage of EU ruling in my country for example, taking up farmland with their 50+ caravans, taking us weeks to get em off the land, and they simply move on to the next town and repeat.

the oddity about the EU thing is that there's only an illusion of aid going towards gypsies
like for instance, in france, a gypsy could never be considered french, therefor putting a huge barrier in society
same thing happened to the muslim population of france

Exactly, they're not really doing anything at all. They're ignoring them in both helping and policing.

i think it's very worrying when the president of a nation says he'll "clean out the population"
Exactly, they're not really doing anything at all. They're ignoring them in both helping and policing.
And as I said a few posts earlier, helping doesn't help. Not in the way it should be helping.
i think it's very worrying when the president of a nation says he'll "clean out the population"
Yes, that was a bit too Hitlerish even for my taste. My guess is that he meant something else, which was taken out of context by the media.

I'm not talking about aid, I'm talking about EU ruling about not being able to evict/throw someone off your land easily.

Uh, read my other posts in the thread. Pages 2-3-4.
And as I said a few posts earlier, helping doesn't help. Not in the way it should be helping.
I disagree in the sense that they're not helping , they're not doing anything at all. Which means that you have a group of people who can be criminals and not get arrested and poverty stricken people that don't get aid at the same time.
I'm not talking about aid, I'm talking about EU ruling about not being able to evict/throw someone off your land easily.
You live in the Netherlands, right? Do you have ghettos there? Or is it just offcity land which on which they are living?
Yes, that was a bit too Hitlerish even for my taste. My guess is that he meant something else, which was taken out of context by the media.
My guess is that's exactly what he meant and sarcozy is just a huge fucking racist, TH89 should ban him.
I disagree in the sense that they're not helping , they're not doing anything at all. Which means that you have a group of people who can be criminals and not get arrested and poverty stricken people that don't get aid at the same time.
The French government decided it was more important to ban burkas and yarmulkes.
You live in the Netherlands, right? Do you have ghettos there? Or is it just offcity land which on which they are living?
It's farmland, as far as I know we have no real ghetto here.
My guess is that's exactly what he meant and sarcozy is just a huge fucking racist, TH89 should ban him.
Yeah he pretty much wanted to throw them the fuck out, which was taking the most stupid solution and just running with it.
The French government decided it was more important to ban burkas and yarmulkes.
Not just the french, here in Slovenia as well. They're just not doing anything.

I meant the help that my government is doing. I guess EU regulations have taken over in Slovenia (Right?).

If they are part of the European Union, then yes.
My guess is that's exactly what he meant and sarcozy is just a huge fucking racist, TH89 should ban him.
Could be true. I just think a president wouldn't make such a retarded statement just like that, without thinking through the consequences.

He's french.
I'm not talking about aid, I'm talking about EU ruling about not being able to evict/throw someone off your land easily.
france is still doing that so i don't think it's followed much
He's french.
But he didn't surrender to the problem.
(See, that's stereotyping. All french surrender.)
france is still doing that so i don't think it's followed much
The EU doesn't have the balls to do anything about it.
I meant the help that my government is doing. I guess EU regulations have taken over in Slovenia (Right?).
None regarding gypsies and illegal immigrants in general have really come up so far.
The EU doesn't have the balls to do anything about it.
It isn't so easy, you know. They can't just do it. It's not a nike commercial. They have to care about their respect in front of the rest of the world. I mean, something like that would be looked down upon. It's much easier to ignore the problem. (I am not being ironic. It is literally easier for them to ignore the problem.)

nationalism is the unifying principle of anything bad in Europe

They arn't, there is some huge ass long investigation going on AFAIK, and the EU can do things, they can fine France for millions, am just saying they should've done it the minute sarcozy said he was going to deport gypsies.

What election are you talking about? If you're talking about the EU president election, no-one other than that belgian guy wanted the position anyways.

Huge ass long is more than correct in terms of investigations like these.
