Let me put it this way.
The ideology behind racism is pure ignorance towards another person/group of people depending on certain aspects behind those people, including stereotypes because some people think stereotypes are true.
If we could just eliminate the idea of "Judging a book by it's cover" then maybe these certain aspects will go unnoticed.
I'm not sure if that makes sense or if my statement contradicting itself, but the point is, if people stop being such ignorant bastards, then maybe, JUST MAYBE, we could have some peace between people.

They might not be french, but they can be polish for example, they only need a passport for one of the EU country's to be able te reside in any EU country without having a passport for lets say france, they may live in france with a polish passport.

This is true, but not really the issue. If your country is in the EU then you only need its passport and can then travel freely to any other country in the EU. They don't want to give the gypsies a citizenship (it's sort off connected but I'm just clarifying).

Agreed.
In the end, this all boils down to ideals of white supremacy. Deep down they feel inferior to whites, so they are quick to become defensive when it comes to topics of their race. However, they are more than happy to piss over whites at any possible time.
Being an Indian in a Chinese dominated country, I've observed how people here wish to be White by dying their hair blond, or wearing blue contacts. Some even go as far as to call themselves 'White Chinese' or 'White Indian'. Among themselves, they are quick to dish out crap on Whites.
It isn't something that can be eliminated until those who perceive themselves as 'victims' decide to grow a pair.
