having a large amount of black people be poor compared to white people isn't a double standard or a blame game, it's reality
america loves the underdog, and the only way you'll get rid of that is making black people equal in society

It depends on what you mean when you say they love chicken and watermelon. You can use it as a joke with no negative intent, or you can actually believe it as you say it. It's not racist or not racist simply by nature, it's what you mean by it that makes it a racist thing.

By continuing to recognize people as inherently different in law (affirmative action, for example), you only keep the problem alive. So you can't just "make" them equal. They have equal rights, and true there will always be some racist people, but the best way to kill racism may be for the government to stop recognizing race. If they stop judging people in any way based on race, if the media stops telling us all about how different races are doing in society, then the importance of race will fall in our own minds as well.
