I got this game for free after pre-ordering Natural selection 2. :smug:

Using a "weapon sharpness texture" to work out whether the weapon should stick into something or not is pure genius.

I really like the first one, the big open environments are great too. It brings a bit of the classic games feeling back where it was more common to have big plains and that sort of thing. The physics and graphics are great too, I can't wait till this is finished.

All awesome games, yet my parents still say they don't know how to work those dang first persion shooters thingys, and they miss tron, tank and missile command. My dad is kinda liking my video games (loves burnout revenge) but I showed him portal 2 and it was too much for him right now.

Can you do anything in the alpha besides run around and test the engine out?

judging by the demo-sandbox-thingie, the characters move too fast and accelerate too fast, it's annoying.
