Oh, and I love The Clash. They never grow old.
The Libertines
Violent Femmes
The Velvet Underground
The Stone Roses.
If you like The Clash, you should like at least one of those bands.
Alestorm!
Nope, dun like them.
Hey guys, I need some music like this. The closer it is to this song, the better, in all aspects of the song.

Note that I don't much care for their other stuff.

I remember listening to that a long time ago.
I remember listening to that a long time ago.
Me too.
Playing Strapping Young Lad in Frets on Fire made me suddenly remember it, because they both have orgasmic screams.
So... Yeah.
I'm nuts for Emerson, Lake, and Palmer.
ELP, Pink Floyd (or The Pink Floyd, depending on the year), Zappa, and Peter Gabriel are my top four.
Any suggestions?
http://www.progarchives.com/ Is a good site for that sort of stuff.
The Killers
Muse
Royksopp
Coldplay (eeek)
Queen
anyone got suggestions?
Check out Love which are a psychedelic rock band from the 60's. Awesome guitar solos in this song near the end.

The Stooges and Wire are like the Clash's earlier stuff.

Holy crap dude! Those are awesome! Thanks alot man
For people of my taste
-I love Jimi Hendrix and his music
-Aerosmith and other hard-rock related
-All kinds of blues, even though its a hundred years old
-Metal
-Trash metal
My favorite band is of course, The Jimi Hendrix Experience, Aerosmith and Led Zeppelin. I only listen to rock n roll. Hip hop/rap/techno/pop is like shoving an acid pinecone up my ass.
EDIT:
Oh, and I love The Clash. They never grow old.
Some phsycadelicrock/bluesrock would be Canned Heat, Blue Cheer, Taj Mahal, John Mayall, Taste or Buddy Guy. If you like some real hold blues you should try Robert Johnson, Muddy Waters or Sonny Terry & Brownie McGhee.
Suggest me some music. I don't like going with what Last.fm says, because..that's no fun.

I'd recommend Explosions in the Sky and Godspeed You! Black Emperor if you like post-rock (judging by Mogwai and TWDY in your playlist)
The Decemberists
Death Cab for Cutie
Arcade Fire
Modest Mouse
Postal Service
Editors
30 Seconds to Mars
Any suggestions? :)

Neutral Milk Hotel remind me of Arcade Fire, except replace the strings with horns.
The Pixies and Pavement are some good indie/alternative rock.
you sure do recommend The Pixies and Pavement a lot
People sure do like bands that are similar to Pixies and Pavement.
Pixies is always the answer, though.
fuck pavement

Pavement invented thrash metal. You should be thankful for them.
Pavement did no such thing.
they're not related to metal at all
umm...3 Inches of Blood
<3 3ioB.
Well, I've said this, and got banned. So i'll say it in this thread,
I've been looking for mounths, and with no where else to go, I turn to you Facepunch. I need some spooky alien music tracks, something like the music that starts around 0:17
