help meeeeee
Do you have these? Sleep Isis Cult Of Luna EyeHateGod Corrupted Orange Goblin Witchcraft Monster Magnet Sourvein
Let us not forget Down, Electric Wizard, and Crowbar?
Give me music that sounds good, has a youtube link under 50k views, and will never go mainstream, not computer generated garage band shit though. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=M7R3wXJSQ2g This kind of music.
Something in russian, free, in rock or acoustic flavors please?
If anyone could suggest a band similar to this (Industrial Metal/'Death Wave'/Doom)
I'm really needing some epic/orchestral style music with little to no lyrics, preferably none. Emphasis on drums is a massive plus. Longer songs is also a great plus. Already have: X-Ray Dog, Two Steps from Hell, Immediate Music My current problems: X-Ray Dog doesn't have a lot of power songs and most are very short. Two Steps from Hell are also very short. Immediate Music is almost all airy/light-hearted style. I'm looking for darker stuff.
Hi i am now at this music discovery website http://www.tv243.com love it

I'm playing my bass, but I'm in a writing mood. Someone suggest some good Jazz, Reggae, and/or Funk to help inspire me.

Been listening to Disturbed a lot lately, seems to keep me in a civil mood. Anyone able to recommend any other metal with the same uplifting effect?

Okay, this is eating me up inside. I need music like Carnal Forge's "Burning Eden." Particularly the vocal style (non-abrasive shouting) with the exaggerated vocal rhythms. Please don't say other Carnal Forge songs, because Burning Eden is the only song of theirs like this; the others are just arhythmic bellowing over blastbeats, which I can't stand it. Here's the song for reference: Thanks. :buddy:
The singing reminds me of Sonic Syndicate a bit. I also love the intro-solo there.
Yeah, I've tried out Sonic Syndicate and Threat Signal. I like their harshes, but their cleans are a bit a irritating (I know TS's are, can't remember if SS has annoying cleans, though, and I can't check cuz I gotta head out the door now :v:) If you guys got any other suggestions, don't hesitate to lay 'em on me. :buddy:
Hi i am listening now to minimal music http://www.tv243.com/view.php?q=minimal&v=7xbYdL000qA love it
I seem to be into a lot of electronic/dance music lately but I'm not very good at figuring out what sub-genre songs are from so I don't really know what else to look for. Here are some of my favorites for reference: ^doesn't really start until 0:50 and then just about anything Daft Punk or Justice. Any suggestions?
Its gonna be a long weekend haha. Thanks.
No problem, I'm pretty sure you'll love some of those artists :D

You will probably like electro house. Hardstyle, you can find tons of this on Youtube. Happy Hardcore, this is the very mainstream and new kind though. There's not a whole lot of new happy hardcore to be found as the genre peaked in the mid 90's and pretty much died out since then. There are still some artists hanging around but you're better off looking for something else. You may or may not like the old sugar sweet kind, but I recommend Scott Brown if you like this. Electro house, this particular track was played constantly in clubs over here. and then just about anything Daft Punk or Justice. Any suggestions?
You will probably want to look for electro house and hardstyle. A couple of artists you may like: Hardstyle: Technoboy Dark Oscillators Blutonium Boys Headhunterz House: Deadmau5 (I believe there's a thread about him somewhere on the forum) David Guetta Maskinen East Clubbers (Some would say these guys belong in trance, but I find that they're not atmospheric enough, and now find themselves as being house sped up a tiny bit). Random artists you might like: The "Bonkers" albums (Newer happy hardcore that you can find on Youtube) Above and Beyond (Or Oceanlab they're basically the same just with/without a singer. This is mainly trance) Lia (Although it's japanese I find that a lot of her stuff is quite enjoyable. She might be hard to find on Youtube but search for Omega Force mix in conjunction with Lia and you will probably find some, also happy hardcore) Kai Tracid (Acid trance I find it very nice)

Especially anything hardstyle + Deadmau5.
Ugh; Top40 electronica is generally shit my good fellow. Especially anything hardstyle + Deadmau5.
Seems to me like that is what he likes. Which is why I suggested it. Besides they're great gateways into the genres, you have to start somewhere.
Seems to me like that is what he likes. Which is why I suggested it. Besides they're great gateways into the genres, you have to start somewhere.
I'm gonna be honest - I entered through Meat Beat Manifesto and Aphex Twin
Suggest me something like At the Drive-In/Funeral Diner. Something that is either from the 90s screamo movement or sounds like it.
Bear vs. Shark
Awesome, thanks.
Old david bowie, thats all
I want a band like the Dropkick Murphys. Ones I have: -Flogging Molly -Black 47 -Great Big Sea -The Tossers -The Mahones -The Real McKenzies Though none of them seem to be as intense as Dropkick Murphys besides Flogging Molly (Who I've liked for about 5 years, I just discovered the Dropkick Murphys recently). I really like the way the song "Captain Kelly's Kitchen" sounds if that helps.
