I like bands with good lyrics and usually very good bass lines and the only band I am listening to is Franz Ferdinand, Just try to keep the band at a level where their most popular song on youtube is 1.5 - 2 million views, I don't like popular music because the band ends up being requested on the radio 1500 times and it just makes me feel dirty.

This summer I'm going on a really long drive, and I'm going to need to keep myself up by listening to music. The only music that seems to keep me awake while driving is thrash metal. So far all I've got in the playlist is 3:51:46 (hours:minutes:seconds) of individually selected Metallica. I still need at least another 24 hours worth of music, but I don't know what else to add. So, could someone suggest me some GOOD Thrash metal I could find to add to this playlist? I've already got lots of Megadeth, Slayer, Antrhax, but I don't really listen to any of them as much as Metallica, since I don't get the same "energy" from them.

Looking for new music, My favorite bands/artists are: Gorillaz, Eminem, Muse, The Beatles, Tenacious D, Red Hot Chili Peppers Green Day (I don't like them that much anymore), System of a down (don't like them that much either.). I also like Franz Ferdinand and Iron Maiden, and was trying to get into Metallica but some of their songs are boring to listen, actually. [editline]02:29AM[/editline] Oh, MGMT is awesome as well.

I'm looking for something hardcore-ish like Converge.
I need more good thrash. It doesn't have to be strictly thrash, I am open to both more brutal and more melodic stuff. Shit I already listen to: Pantera Slayer Metallica some Anthrax Megadeth Testament Also if there is any confirmed Anthrax fans in here, can you tell me ' their three best albums?
Anything Ambient or Industrial, I already Listen to Nine Inch Nails and KMFDM.
