I want something that raw and emotional.
Anyone know some good prog rock? Please don't reccomend Dream Theatre as they are prog metal, and I don't like them, I like:
Rush (ALOT ALOT ALOT ALOT.)
Queen.
Yes.
Kansas.
Pink Floyd.
aPParently there's two bands I heard of that you would like
Emmerson, Lake, and Palmer
Genesis
I heard they're both Progressive. But if you like Geddy Lee's voice, there's a band called Triumph you might enjoy.

If you want raw and emotional, I'd listen to all of Close To The Edge by Yes. That album is amazing.
The National
Meh, they weren't really that good for me.
Anyone else have suggestions for me?
Klaatu. They are a progressive rock band.

Thanks to everyone who suggested some prog rock, especially loving King Crimson.
Got a request. I'm looking for some special jazz style. Where the bass makes alot of the song, and they often base the song on the blues (minor) scale. Examples:

I'm still looking... Anyone?
I'm fairly certain I've heard it all already, but could someone recommend me some good string quartet?
Something in the style of Haydn, obviously.

I'm surprised you hadn't heard of them before. They pretty much invented the genre.
You might also want to look at a couple of albums by Jethro Tull. They're not really prog, but Thick as a Brick is just one 43 minute song split into two parts because it couldn't fit on one side of the album.

What's some good Icelandic music?
I already have: Sigur Ros, múm , Bjork, The Sugarcubes, Amiina. Any genre is fine.
Can anyone recommend something similar to Nick Drake's Pink Moon album where the only instruments are an acoustic guitar and very relaxing vocals basically, but enough nice riffs to keep it varied.
Nils Lofgren's "Acoustic Live" album, José González
