I'm looking for non-English music. I have a slight preference towards rock but I'm open to any genre. I've got music from these artists already: Beatrice Bonifassi, Bi-2, Brat'ya Grim, Control Machete, Dschinghis Khan, Harel Skaat, Hironobu Kageyama, Jean Leloup, Juanes, Kino, L'Arc-En-Ciel, Last Alliance, Les Cowboys Fringants, Loco Locass, Mademoiselle K, Miwako Okuda, Nacha Pop, Nightmare, Noir Désir, Oomph!, Roberto Carlos, Serge Gainsbourg, Sergey Lazarev, Shai Gabso, Shouko Nakagawa, Thalía, The Pillows, Vitaminless and Voskresenie. That's French, German, Spanish, Japanese, Russian and Hebrew music. It's hard to find non-English music I like just by Googling it myself, though, so I thought I'd ask.
Have some Norwegian. I'm not very much into the scene, but I hope you like these
Many thrash bands
Who was that intended for?

I'm looking for the unknown stuff, that is still gold.
Haha ofcourse, I wasn't really serious, I thought it was fun since it's like super swedish that's all haha! Well I'll see if I have any unkown stuff. [editline]02:36PM[/editline] You could check out Chris Thomas King's album The Beginning He's pretty cool! Don't know if it's gold or not, it's something atleast haha.
now Gimme 80s Gold. :3:
Roxy Music - Avalon I prefer their glam-art-rock stuff, but those were made in the 70's. This is good too, some songs are pretty catchy, the singer has a great voice, and the synths sound beautiful. Kate Bush - The Dreaming This may be hard to get into at first because of her voice, but she actually is a very talented singer. She also combines like, 20 genres in one album which sounds really neat. Although it's hard to hear, her lyrics are very well written. Tom Waits - Rain Dogs Pretty much the same as the Kate Bush description except change the gender of the pronouns and add "blues-rock" into there. The Go-Betweens - 16 Lovers Lane Australian Jangle Pop! Talk Talk - The Colour of Spring This band is known for inventing post-rock on their last two albums (check those out as well), but this one is great as well. More New-Wavy than post-rock.
I'm looking for the unknown stuff, that is still gold.
Slint - Spiderland This album is pretty much a rock soundtrack to some weird artsy expressionist film. And like some weird artsy expressionist film, this album is very creepy and unnerving but you can't seem to bring yourself to look away.
Appreciated.
I must also add that Kate Bush was signed at the age of 16 after a recommendation by Pink Floyd's guitarist, David Gilmour.
you said you wanted thrash so I gave you thrash
Well more specifically death/thrash. I already know all those bands and none of them could be considered death/thrash besides maybe Kreator or Destruction. But thanks anyway
I'm looking for non-English music. That's French, German, Spanish, Japanese, Russian and Hebrew music. Korpiklaani have some Finnish songs. More on there newer albums I think. Sigur Rós play in Icelandic I know you have French music already but I suggest checking out Amesoeurs. Since most of their music is harsher, I suggest the songs Video Girl (its in French, don't worry), Amesoeurs, La Reine Trayeuse, Faux Semblants, Les Ruches Malades, Faiblesse Des Sens.
I also in need of some Death/thrash.
The only thing I can think of is The Batallion. That might be more Black/Thrash then what your looking for but it is worth giving a try.
Thanks a lot, good bands, I like Týr's style.
ok guys been listing to paramore LOADS an fall out boy, jimmi hendrix, guns n' roses. any other bands that i might like that have similar sounds to these bands??
