I dont feel like making a new account to check what songs you listen to(forces me to)
Anyways I'd like a new band to listen to, my favorite bands are:
Soundgarden
Nirvana
Alice in Chains
Audioslave
Elbow
Andrew Bird
Pig With The Face of A Boy
Dropkick Murphys
Tool
I like songs that have certain notes/rythyms or beats used all the time, or like words said in tune with the song(sorry if this isn't clear enough, I'm not sure how to word it right), like:

From what I've read Dimmu Borgir is regarded as dumb in this section, but hear me out.
Recently I have discovered I have an interest in symphonic metal, but the problem is, most of it is extremely pansy stuff with horrible vocals and digital symphonies.
Dimmu Borgir has a few songs that I know of that have exactly what I want. The intro to "Progenies of the Great Apocolypse" for instance. It's symphonic black metal, but it's epic and heavy.
Is there any other bands out there that do symphonic metal / black metal properly?
Can anyone suggest some film/TV instrumental scores for me? Seems that lately the only kind of music I really enjoy are instrumental scores. Currently in my arsenal I have the Dark Knight score, the Doctor Who 1-2/3-4 scores, the Kick-Ass score, the Lord of the Rings scores and the Transformers scores.
I love the sort of chanting thing that goes on in some of the Transformers and Doctor Who songs as well.
