Trying the TSO right now. It's pretty good, but so far all I've heard is Christmas music. They do play other things, right? I'd already tried Dimmu Borgir. The vocals just ruined it for me. I seriously can't stand growly lyrics like that.
Yes, they do more than Christmas music. And that stuff with Christopher Lee is so fucking awesome I can't even begin to describe it. He collaborated with Manowar and Rhapsody of Fire and a full orchestra to make it, and it is just glorious. Seriously, why hadn't I heard about this
Just found this: It seems to be what you're looking for. Plus it's got Saruman/Count Dooku, so you really can't go wrong
Wait wait wait Someone took heavy metal, an orchestra, and Christopher fucking Lee, and put them in a blender, and not only did it blend, but the universe didn't implode from the sheer awesomeness? I can no longer tell if my boner is from this, or the porn in the other tab. I CAN'T TELL.
I fucking know, and apparently he's making another album of the same variety next year. It's hard to see through all the jizz

[editline]10:56PM[/editline] looking for something that sounds 'different'
.
.
I notice you only have one Van Halen album. You might want to check out their other stuff. Same for Iron Maiden. If you're looking for "unusual", try Deathmole. They're an indie band, with the guy who does the webcomic "Questionable Content". All instrumentals, all their stuff's free. They have a concept album about retelling Dune, except with unicorns. If that isn't unusual, I don't know what is.
.
Opeth. Very unique band, they play progressive death metal. Even if you don't like death metal, they're great.
I'll give Opeth a look and seek out more VH. I have more Iron Maiden, just not in my iTunes at the moment. Thanks.

I'm looking for some bands/songs which are similar to these Raunchy - A Heavy Burden Rauncy - Warriors Raunchy - Straight to Hell

Truly amazing band. One of my alltime favourites. A piece with Jari Maenpaa, their old singer. He's the main man of Wintersun now. And with their current singer, Petri Lindroos, ex-Norther frontman. Blare is fucking loud and feel the Norse powers flow through you :black101: Enslaved, pioneers of the genre and pretty much solidified the sound Turisas Moonsorrow (while this band has a Viking metal sound, they don't like the term since they don't sing about Vikings. But they fit the criteria musically) Helheim Equilibrium
After being a longtime Rammstein fan and that being the only industrial band I like, I'd like to try to get into some more industrial that sounds like Rammstein.

His favourite bands are Manowar and Rhapsody of Fire. Both bands featured on the album. I mean seriously how fucking badass is that?
Anyone know some punk bands that have the same 'sound' as Stiff Little Fingers or the Sex Pistols?
After being a longtime Rammstein fan and that being the only industrial band I like, I'd like to try to get into some more industrial that sounds like Rammstein.
You'd probably like Imperative Reaction. And check out other bands from the NDH genre like Die Krupps and Die Apokalyptischen Reiter. And Oomph! since they practically invented the genre :v:

They aren't really like Rammstein. They're industrial yes, but none are really like Rammstein. What he's looking for is Neue Deutsche Harte. Oomph! are one of the biggest bands in the genre, Eisbrecher Unheilig Die Apokalyptischen Reiter (not sure if they count)

Oomph! and Eisbrecher were pretty badass in 5th/6th grade. I hate when someone wants ONLY the same exact genre of music as requested though. Its incredibly close-minded to not attempt to spread out your musical tastes.
Oh I'm always looking to branch out. My main genres are Thrash (I look and dress like 1988 Dave Mustaine) and maybe Black Metal but I'm always looking for more. I looked up some of that aggrotech stuff and it's ok, just not my cup of joe.
Anyone know some punk bands that have the same 'sound' as Stiff Little Fingers or the Sex Pistols?
also looking for this
I like ministry as an industrial band, but they aren't that similar to ze 'Stein. [editline]04:25PM[/editline] Rio Grande blood is the only album I know really well by them [editline]04:26PM[/editline]
also looking for this
Generation X? Try their song, Kiss me deadly. Another one is the Damned, literally my favourite punk band of that era

Can anyone suggest me something similar to Aphex Twin?
