shut the fuck up
oh hey guys, you like this band so you should kill yourself :downs:
I'm saying he's an idiot for saying people should kill them selves because they don't like a band, not that he should kill himself because he likes the band

I would like a more specific genre for this. I have been trying to get music similar to this but can not get close to like it.
Does anyone know any bands that are the same style as bands like "Dead by April", "Escape the Fate", "A Day to Remember" and other bands of the sort?
Sorry, I don't really know what genre to call them I'm afraid.
I can see myself getting called an emo or something if people aren't accepting in here, aha.
I would class them as Post-Hardcore, not a genre I'm a fan of but it might help
Justice
Daft Punk
Gorrilaz
The Prodigy
Kiss
The Cult
Gary Moore
The Doors
Aerosmith
Pendulum
The White Stripes
The Rolling Stones.
Yes, my music taste is shit, and different from eachother. ç_ç

So, guys, I really need your help.
There's one band called "Long Distance Calling", they're an instrumental band which is cool, but on their "Avoid the Light" record, they featured a song with vocals, called "The Nearing Grave".
Here's the song:

Does anyone know some sort of music, that has a similar style and atmosphere to the song above? Please don't recommend Katatonia, I know them already.
I would be grateful for any help.

Check out the Flaming Lips. Transmissions from the Satellite Heart and Clouds Taste Metallic by them is some great 90's alt rock. Yoshimi Battles the Pink Robots has more of an electro-pop vibe to it. The Soft Bulletin, I don't know how to describe it but just listen to it. it's some great stuff. So check them out.
