Karnivool. I cannot stress this enough, listen to them right now, they are fucking incredible.
They are better than Tool imo, they're a kickass band [editline]11th December 2010[/editline]
lots of words
Nobody is going to read that through, condense it
They are better than Tool imo, they're a kickass band
You should have a listen to Dead Letter Circus, too. Just as good, also part of the whole "Australian prog-rock/metal" thing.
@Relaxin' Why did you forget R.E.M.? [editline]11th December 2010[/editline] And why is the black keys one of the only uncapitalized ones?
I need something to keep me productive while studying for exams. Preferably instrumental.
So currently I'm looking for some old Rock/Blues bands. Does anyone have a suggestion? Like The Doors, because I like the synthesizer.
I need something to keep me productive while studying for exams. Preferably instrumental.
Ludovico Einaudi. Try Divenire, Primavera and Nightbook.
So currently I'm looking for some old Rock/Blues bands. Does anyone have a suggestion? Like The Doors, because I like the synthesizer.
It's not a synthesizer, it's an organ.
I like to hear calm instrumental music (no classic, i like it, but it is not that what i am searching). What do you suggest?
God is an Astronaut Ghosts and Vodka. ~ Good instrumental.
Any suggestions for someone who likes The Killers, Modest Mouse, Neon Trees, and Gorillaz?
Editors, The Strokes, Built to Spill, Kasabian
Editors, The Strokes, Built to Spill, Kasabian
Thanks. :D Though I do know I like Kasabian. lol
So currently I'm looking for some old Rock/Blues bands. Does anyone have a suggestion? Like The Doors, because I like the synthesizer.
Blue Cheer, Steppenwolf, The Stooges, Grateful Dead, Free, Captain Beefheart & His Magic Band :buddy:
Looking for some dubstep/2 step / garage (good stuff, none of that crappy dance with a bit of bass oscillation) maybe similar to burial.
I like to hear calm instrumental music (no classic, i like it, but it is not that what i am searching). What do you suggest?
Try the album Things We Lost In The Fire by Low. Its calm acoustic rock, although it has lyrics.
Gimme space rock. :3: [editline]13th December 2010[/editline] Rather "concept" space rock.
Recommend me some good liquid D&B :) I'm a big fan of High Contrast, Calibre, Netsky and Sub Focus, so something similar to those would be nice.
Gimme space rock. :3: [editline]13th December 2010[/editline] Rather "concept" space rock.
I think Spiritualized is Space Rock. Ladies and Gentlemen We Are Floating in Space is a masterpiece.

I'm looking for some Lo-Fi Folk or Acoustic music, much like 3:04 intro to this.

[editline]11th December 2010[/editline] And why is the black keys one of the only uncapitalized ones?
Not that keen on R.E.M., as for The Black Keys, some error or something caused it and I haven't bothered to fix it. [editline]14th December 2010[/editline] Can someone recommend me something like fun. or something like Carissa's Weird? Thanks
