Bad quality vids but you can make out the music:

Looking for songs with similar acoustic riff as in this song's intro.

I don't really think the song is that great otherwise, but that acoustic riff is awesome.

Holy fuck this song is awesome. Now I'm looking for other classic rap songs. Anyone got suggestions?

Easy-E was in N.W.A., so check that out. That song sort of reminds me of Run–D.M.C. except without the gangsta lyrics.
Are there any bands similar to Gorillaz that you guys know about? I mean, similar to the style of their albums before The Fall.

I know it's a bit ridiculous but Radiohead's new album came to mind if you're talking more about their electronic work. As in Plastic Beach.
Their early work is really familiar sounding to a lot of bands I've heard, but my mind is a bit blank atm.
Anyone like Immortal Technique?
Sup.
Evlbzltyr, try looking into artists that Gorillaz collaborated on tracks with. You'll like De La Soul and a lot others they did with on their debut album.

Will do :3: I'm listening to a couple of songs from the King of Limbs, so far sounds pretty much exactly the sort of stuff I was looking for, thank you :buddy:

You might like Blur, since the Gorillaz singer sings in Blur too.

Gorillaz is pretty much a collaboration group, so a list of everyone they were affiliated with is definitely going to be liked.
I'm looking for two things...
I love DJ Shadow. A lot. More like that. Instrumental hip-hop.
Most post-rock in the vein of Gifts From Enola and And So I Watch You From Afar.

I'm looking for some nice melodic electronic music. no repeditive bleep bloop stuff.
I have recently discovered Amon Tobin, and so far this has got to be one of my most loved songs ever.

i'm also a fan of the Gorrilaz, Bonobo, DJ shadow and blockhead among others, and i'm having difficulty finding more awesome music (the More like Amon Tobin the better)
Try some Brian Eno.

More Art Rock oriented but still good.

Go for Innervisions and Songs in the Key of Life.
With Sly, try There's a Riot On... you will enjoy that a lot. Funkiest thing you'll ever hear.
I want me some music like Gorillaz.
More specifically the G-Sides album, the music "faust" is fucking awesome.
