Slowcore = Slow-Hardcore :eng101:
Sadcore is almost the same thing as slowcore.
I don't find it "sad" at all though. :raise:
I need some chill music. Sort of like Röyksopp. :buddy:
I need some chill music.
Scroll up for slowcore. :3:

Sigur Ros, God Is An Astronaut, Massive Attack.
The Qemists, Bass hunter, Showtek And biffy clyro :frog:
"Chill" music is a bit unspecific. Could be jazz, soul, blues... ambient, drone... anything.
Here is my iTunes Library + some Muse that I just added

I have an incredibly odd taste in music. Could anybody suggest some music that you think I'd like?
That's not odd at all.
Also, The Offspring is like Sum 41 but better.
Suggest some stuff, here is my library.

Tip, find all of those artists' old albums.

Find the chill music thread in this subforum; I posted a bunch of chillwave/ambientish stuff there.
That's not odd at all.

how dare you say that the offspring is better than sum 41 :byodood:
and I said that my taste in music was weird because I have everything ranging from Trivium to Hans Zimmer
I'm going to get a few past albums but bands like Silverstein... well their older things are pretty bad
You don't have everything from Trivium to Hans Zimmer. You have Trivium, and you have Hans Zimmer.
Check out:
Opeth, Between the Buried and Me, Scar Symmetry, Pantera, Metallica, Megadeth, The Ocean, Tool, Nevermore, Machine Head, August Burns Red, Parkway Drive, Sleep, Dream Theater, Coheed and Cambria, Clint Mansell, John Murphy, Two Steps from Hell
Should get some early hard rock bands too.
"Everything from Trivium to Hans Zimmer" :raise:
You only have the Inception album. Long way to go.

Well if you like Tears for Fears you'd probably like Cold Cave and Bear in Heaven (the same sort of dark synthpop, albeit much more modern and sorta stripped-down compared to TfF), and if you like Yeasayer and Local Natives you've gotta check out Animal Collective (their more recent stuff is more in-line with them)
[editline]29th March 2011[/editline]
oh and if you like QotSA and EoDM then there are about a million bands you could get into through them because they're part of this sort of web of musicians with similar musical styles, who are constantly collaborating and forming new side-projects http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Palm_Desert_Scene

oh are you asking for a recommendation, i didn't see

Heh, thanks for the reply. I've already gone through Bear in Heaven. I don't care for Animal Collective really. I did spend a week or so going through alot of desert rock stuff. I ended up just keeping Kyuss, Eagles of Death Metal, and Queens of the Stone Age. I used to have all of the Desert Sessions albums but I got rid of them since they didn't get much play.
i'm a bit of a hoarder. i wouldn't get rid of anything unless i developed an active distaste for it. different strokes for different folks v:shobon:v

If I had a PMP with a larger HD I'd be hoarding all the music I could. I have OCD and I don't like not being able to fit all of my music on my Zune80.
recommend me stuff

I'm sorry but if all you're gonna do is link your library you're better off doing that, because there's no way I'm browsing through 27 pages of artists to see if I know of any that are similar and absent from the list.
That's not odd at all.
These are literally the same bands i listen to, i thought i had odd taste's as well.
Let's play a game. The person who has heard of the most albums here wins.

Too bad I didn't rip my other indie CDs.
I lost horribly :saddowns:
I have 8 of those of vinyl :3:
But more or less heard of all of them. Except for the french stuff, Magma is great though.
Anglagard are also great.
Should get some early hard rock bands too.

I mostly listen to Hans Zimmer's stuff on Spotify, just thought the Inception OST was good enough to put onto my iPod.

lol really
All those bands are very mainstream
literally all of them

EDIT: Oh yeah I was making a point, start listening to the stuff in my library and you can say you're diverging from the mainstream.
