The only problem I see with this is the bones and the 'waste products' inside the animal.
I highly doubt that it is really used for pet food because of those reasons, unless they somehow filter it out.
They put chemicals and shit in dog food as well, things that would normally poison humans. Whether or not feeding this shit to dogs is ethical that is irrelevant. The real question is how unhealthy is feeding this to your pet? I'm not even going to start on what is put in human food.

uh yeah it's perfectly safe, it's just not as nutritious as our food. a dog won't live as long on kibble as it would real meat but that is kind of obvious. you get what you pay for.

It's degrading to the memory of the horse, for it's only legacy is being ground up while recorded then being posted on youtube so lot's of people can jack off to it.

It's much more efficient to recycle them in this manner, not only to cut down on food costs for the animals, but to keep more food available to us. But, oh no, let's bury them all in the ground because it preserves their memory. Yeah, that's the right thing to do. It's much better to let it rot for several months in the ground, serving no purpose at all, rather than grinding it up over the course of the day, providing food for other animals to eat.
