Just bought TES:IV GOTY Deluxe for $7 on Steam. Never played a TES game before, but I love Fallout 3 and New Vegas. Worth it?

absolutely, it's almost as complex as fallout and what have you, though skyrim takes it another level in how many places you can explore, I would suggest you try to get skyrim.

For Oblivion, I played it almost everyday for a year and still didn't finish the main story. Yes it is worth it.
SKyrim > Oblivion
I never liked TES but I sat down with Skyrim and absolutely loved it.
Also it looks like Serious Sam 3 did a better job of bringing back its series than DNF. I wish it was on xbox so I could play it with my usual co-op buddies.
I would buy Skyrim, but I play things on my craptop. (Only reason I don't play ARMA with you guys.)
Oblivion is still fun, it just wasn't my cup of tea, It's still a great game.

lol sorry but there's more mods than ACE that make Arma II and OA better and more realistic that don't make the game take 10 minutes to start up and don't give you five metric tons of useless shit you don't need

besides, what other mods are you talking about? SLX is the only other mod for ArmA 2 that adds and/or changes things on the scale that ACE does, and it's even more of a buggy piece of shit. Vanilla ArmA 2, while smooth, isn't very fun when you realize that you can't adjust your NVs, can't rest your weapon, can't heal other players, don't get affected whatsoever by overpressure, have to deal with even shittier AI (Yes, ACE improves the AI.), and when you have to deal with the fucking horrible BIS hitpoint-based vehicle damage.
i like ACE because it makes a good game amazing.
