Lol, JA2 is weird with that. You either get wrecked by the hundreds of baddies running at you that appeared out of the blue or you engage slay-bodies mode and kill [I]everything[/I]. The whole suppression, morale, and energy systems I guess are what creates this avalanche victory situation a lot of the time.
