If you play the campaign on hard on BF3 it's actually hard as fuck. I spent at least two hours on the mission where you have to move into Tehran and assault that bank at the end. Those fucking MG nests before you attack the apartment complex kept mowing me down.

It's pretty goddamn cool on hard though. It's not like call of doodoo where the enemies will kill you literally before they even finish turning themselves, and instant aim-bot at you instead of the 20 guys surrounding you.

You can actually rely on your teammates to cover doors too. No longer do you have to cover two doors on opposite sides of the room because it takes your teammates 10 seconds to kill a single guy if they ever even feel like it.

I just had an intense moment playing Rush on Caspian Border. My tank got knocked out about 200 meters from the first base and when it exploded I thought I was sure I was going to die but I didn't. So I took cover behind the tank and I could hear bullets hitting against it. Then a friendly tank moved up on the other side of the highway so I decided to move up and ran all the way to the border checkpoints while under heavy fire. Let's see Cock of Doody try to get something as epic as that in their heavily scripted campaign.

Man it's pretty goddamn funny when you step back for a sec and look at how broken Battlefield 3 is. I go onto every gaming forum in the world and I see at least 10 different problems on sometimes the [I]same page[/I]. Be it connection errors, overclocking errors, punkbuster errors, driver errors, audio card errors, RAM errors, generic CTD errors, generic 'stopped working' errors, errors that require restarting, errors that require ctrl-alt-deleting, errors with game minimizing and refusing to re-maximize, errors with battlelog, errors upon loading, errors upon joining....it goes [B]on and on[/B].
It's a technical feat in itself how many problems the game has. Amazing that they've hardly said a thing on the expected "day 1" (lol) patch, or whether or not they realize a good 1/4 of the people who purchased the game can't actually play it.
I personally would like to know what the point of their alpha and beta was if they're having so many network and software issues post-release.

It seems like only the PC version is broken which is funny considering the PC was the lead platform. On the Xbox I get no problems other than occasionally being disconnected from a server when I try to join.

I'm willing to bet that alot of it has to do with the fact that Origin is shit
I think PC would generally be the hardest platform to get a game to run on. With consoles you have a constant set of specs to optimize it for, but PCs vary ridiculous amounts.
Every game now has a really bad release. Just give BF3 some time and it should be perfect, look at RO2 It launched in the worse condition but now it is an amazing game.
So now I actually got a legal copy of BF3 and damn is it fun to play:

I know they are "aware of the issue" but it's fucking bullshit, installed it about 10 hours ago at the exact same time as one who got it working. Rest of my friends installed it about 5 hours ago and it's working for them.

Holy hell at least on release in RO2 I could get in-game 100% of the time and stay in-game for longer than 2 minutes.
